Marlboro Outwit The West

I didn't copy the sights but they were right. I spent a lot of time last night with my eyes half closed and XIT was fit into all 4 brands (pictures were shown & explained).
Yes, the stage production had 4 acts at the Alhambra theater in 1896. The explosion was in scene #3 in the movie.

davidrobert2.... Check the clue again.. it asks for name of theatre play made first showing, not the film. babuska73 has it.. haven't found any earlier that what she posted.

Mrseric .. Thank you : )

you're correct, my bad. i don't know what i'd do without helpful people like you. i sicerely appreciate all the help.

The cipher goes like this:

16-13-04-26-16-16-07-03-04-20-12-04-01-13-15-10-21-22-08-06-16-10-21-17-18-13-08-02-14-23-05-20

P l a y i n g b a s e b a l l i n t h e m i n o r l e a g u e s

First line is the letters converted to numbers (A=1, b=2, etc)
second line is Zane Greys birthday repeated 01/31/72

don't use the 18 in 1872.

Found this on another site. do not know if it is correct or not.

Do you work for the C.I.A. or something?

What about caps? Do you think it should be all, none, or just the first P?

so I been thinking... Usually When It Came To Acts in Theaters They Did it in Roman Numberals... So Anyone Think its Possible intead of 3 its III

Ok ime new here so be kind. First of all the answer to #40. The stage production of The Great Train Robbery was done by Scott Marble. The opening date for the play was 10-19-1896 at Peoples Theatre in New York. 199 Bowery,New York,Ny. The explosive scene is 3.

davidrobert2 .. you notice I put babuska73's name down.. I would have had it wrong, and would probably be getting only 10pts a week with out help.. your help included.. it all works out with a group like Spoofee ppl.

MrZ.. that part of question is ..what scene in the film did the explosion occur.. not act in the play.

3 vs III vs Three

I went looking to see how scenes were numbered in scripts. What I found was that TODAY, movie scripts prefer not to use numbers, but letters. And television sitcoms still use the number "3", not "III" or "Three". BUT . . .

As it pertains to plays -- especially western-style (read "American") plays, Roman Numerals are used to name acts, and the simple numeral "1", "2", "3", etc. is used for scenes. Only in English-style or Elizabethan-style scripts is a Roman Numeral utilized for scenes.

So for this answer, 3 is correct.

Welcome to Spoofee Miner49er .. I think we found the same websites on this one... but..Babuska found an earlier production of the play at the Alhambra.. don't know if link will work.. just copied the google result. I've looked and haven't found anything earlier than what she found..

No, it was the 3rd scene. And they want to know the theatre, not the name of the movie. Answer Alhambra.

you are correct, the explosives scene was scene 3 when they blew up the train, and Alhambra Theater in Chicago is where the STAGE show premiered.

2 separte questions here, the act is from the movie, th theater is from the stage play.

the great train robbery movie and the great train robbery stage play are 2 completely different entities. I think that is where people are getting confused. They were not even the same story.

how did you come across b-reading for number 38? if he is 350 pounds wouldn't it be eating? maybe it's just me and i'm confused or read something wrong

Our team got 135 and we went with rocks, James, Az 7, Distillery, San Fran/Wed
