Marlboro Outwit The West

For clue #30, I have saved the sound file into MP3 and WAV formats. You can download below. Load them into a program such as Audacity so that you can slow them down...even to 1% as fast as normal.

I admit, I am clueless when it comes to Morse Code.

It looks like the questions are getting a little harder each week. This week we have 2 questions that have two parts and lots of possible answers for each part. Has anyone come up with proof of a right answer on second part of #28 and all of #30.

Why is it Wednesday if November 21, 1861: Last run of the Pony Express completed and that was a Thursday...

found this on another site.

DIT AND DASH MADE THE SERVICE CREATED BY THE COCPPEXCO OLD NEWS. IN WHAT CITY AND ON WHAT DAY OF THE WEEK WAS THE FINAL DROP MADE?"
COCPPEXCO is the abbreviation for the official name for the Pony Express, the CENTRAL OVERLAND CALIFORNIA AND PIKE'S PEAK EXPRESS CO.
I called the Pony Express National Museum in St. Joseph, Missouri, and was told by them that the final drop was at Sacramento, California on Thursday, November 21, 1861.
If you go with that, your answer would be:
Sacramento, Thursday

HEY CRAZ CAT LADY THAT SOUND PRETTY DEFINATE i GUESS i BETTER RE -THINK MY ANSWER THANKS

where did you find the tree frog - and did anyone find the wren?

This is what I have for official state symbols
1 nickname "grand canyon state" on postcard
2 State motto "ditat deus" on clock
3 reptile - rattlesnake in picture
4 fish - apache trout in picture
5 fossil - petrified wood in picture
6 gem - turquoise on bolo tie
7 state neckwear - bolo tie
8 state colors - blue and gold - stripes on coffee cup
9 state seal - on health certificate on wall
10 state cactus saguaro - i think the small one on left top is a small saguaro
11 State tree - palo verde - possibly the tree on the menu

i come up with 11 state symbols, someone else replied they saw a statue of a wren and someone else saw a statue of a tree frog. there is also another state symbol , the state amphibian which is also a frog. i can't find any of the last 3 items.

Don't stress too much over the Pony express, guys, it's only a 2-pointer...:ohwell:

True, wasn't even thinking about that! :)

marlboro question 28

on the silver or stainless steel counter there are 3 piles of dishes and to the left is a small bronze statue that looks like a bird. I could be wrong - maybe it is the tree frog?
