Free Goods from Walmart

I received my SoyJoy bar and my Dove cashmere deodarant! :bigok:

That's unbelievable!! Why can't USPS work on this?? I feel like it'll never improve because it's not exactly dependent on customer feedback, like non-government regulated businesses :verysad:

I agree. Years ago, I finally went to the postmaster about a lot of missing mail (cash rebates in those days--actual cash)--and long story short, they got the postal inspector involved and eventually arrested someone (never found out who--probably not my mail person, but someone in the chain of custody). They even sent me a letter stating the outcome of the investigation which I eagerly shared with all the companies who thought I was trying to collect my refunds twice! After that, I never had a problem with my mail at that address. This had gone on for a year after I moved there, and I was missing about 90 rebates! Anyway, if you suspect tampering or theft, you can go to speak to your postmaster about it. It's against the law.

Wow, that's awful! For anyone who thinks there's something fishy going on with their mail and has late/delayed/never received mail and would like to report it to the USPS to launch an investigation, go to: https://www.usps.com/postalinspectors/mailthft/mlntrcvd.htm You can also click on FAQ on the USPS website and click on the topic "Late/Delayed Mail". :bigok:

I have phoned my carrier supervisor several times (most recently when I received last year's Xmas ads in July). She never returned my calls.

Chicago is notorious for problems with the mail. We were recently ranked worst in the country. :(

I'm battling with USPS now over a change of address my daughter filed over a year ago. She has the same first three letters in her name as me and half of my mail has been forwarded to her for the past year. Now, since the forwarding has expired, much of my mail gets returned to sender (Office Depot has sent me the same rebate check twice and has had it returned twice). I've spoken to my local post office twice and they reassure me that all is fixed. I called the national 800 number and they said they've done all they can. I think the only way to fix this is to file a change of address to same address I have now (it has never changed). ARRGH!!

Yeesh! There are so many true horror stories out there when it comes to the USPS. I certainly would not want to be one of the people who has to answer USPS Customer Service calls! I called once with a complaint and they weren't very helpful. I e-mailed, too, but never got a response.

yeah! My mail person folded some of my magazine pages.

My samples usually come, but when I got the Tide stick offer from Vocalpoint the coupons had been stolen. My magazines often arrive having obviously already been read. Fingerprints inside on the pages...he especially likes People magazine.

I think my postman has been swiping some of my freebies also! I signed up for the orange goody powder and some of you have reported that you have already received it but mine never made it. I signed up for the free panties also and they never made it here either. Several other things that I have signed up for has not made it either. We have like 2 or three postman that deliver the mail here. When the regular postman is off my mailbox is loaded. When my regular postman delivers, I hardly get anything. Makes me wonder  :convinced:

You all have GOT to report this. I was missing some stuff while back and spoke to our regular mail carrier. I didnt think it was him cause when he delivers is when I get a mailbox full (Fridays especially). He told me some dont want to carry the (little boxes mostly)stuff and leave it and he delivers it. He also told me that the problem could be back where our town mail is sorted. Guess a distribution place for lots of towns' mail. Told me I can report it, etc. I didnt, tho'. Wasn't positive there was a problem. Yeah, someone reads my mag's too. He's a good guy, lives couple blocks away and only problem with him is that he parks across the street and since he loops around and delivers here last, my mail is wet when its raining, and back pages of mag's are messed up from him carrying around. He sometimes drives his truck up to house and drops off a load and drives off!!! Thats a real good day for me!!!
Please report problems. There is an awful lot of theft going on.
If you think its your mailcarrier, you can mention it to him as if you dont know where the problem is and ask him how you can/or tell him that you're going to report it. Maybe he'll stop on his own....

i got the tide pure essentials, downy pure essentials, bounce pure essentials dryer sheets today..

This is so funny. I just got a post card from the USPS telling me they will be sending me a survey about my mail delivery for the past 30 days. How do you even know if you're getting everything? I never got the 7 UP for example, not even a coupon. But, I have no concrete proof of what's really missing, if anything. Anyway, just thought it was timely!

That happened to me once. Four years ago when my in-laws moved from Maryland to Indiana, we started getting some of their mail at our address! Luckily we were able to just mail it to them.

Pat, i didn't receive it either. I guess I'll have to go to Ellie's suggestion, and keep track on spreadsheets.

You dont have to go too crazy, I just write down in a notebook the date, the website, ie Spoofee, and what I sent for and name and adr I used. (In case you're also sending to/for someone else. Sometimes I note how long it said it will take to arrive (6-8 wks). Just abrev. all info. When I'm on top of things, I go back and highlight what I got and jot down the date. The spiral notebooks are on sale all over now for 10cents.

I think I receive everything but the spreadsheet is a great idea. My mail lady stopped me in my driveway a few months ago to ask me about all the samples I receive. I told her about spoofee. She is now a member (and loving it). Hi to her if she reads this!! :)

I didn't mention a spreadsheet. I just use a pad and things are entered in date order with a column for checking off when rcd. Very low tech. I saw enough spreadsheets to last me for life when I was working. But, I was thinking that the best thing for me to use would be a phone book. That way the offers would be easier to find to mark off/follow up... Obviously need one with a lot of pages for each letter of the alphabet or a loose-leaf type where pages could be added.
