Free Cartoon Network 3D Houseparty-*Party Date 10/6*

The first "house party"-style package I received was for the Nancy Drew party. That wasn't through HouseParty.com. But it was a nice kit, and it came with an Amex gift card to buy refreshments.

I guess that kit spoiled me, because every party kit I've gotten since then has been disappointing. I usually don't even bother planning for the parties anymore. This one is the exception, and that's because we want to play a Foster's Home drinking game.

You guys will still have a blast, Cybermom! The Blooregard Q. Kazoo cupcakes will be a huge hit. :)

Houseparty kits aren't usually a huge deal and don't come with Amex cards and such just product/ads. Its funny the two I got in a row- one was the Hershey's with like 30 pounds of chocolate (I treated everyone in my small office, saved a stash to add on to Christmas presents, put in stockings and eat ourselves and STILL had a ton to bring to a local Moms Night Out where they all gorged on it and STILL brought some home) and then the next was the Treo houseparty which had tons of ads for Treo phones, some small bags like you would buy perfume and fit in it, a small packet of sugar-free margarita mix (SMALL- makes like 4 and it was some gross flavor like Peach) and a bunch of stale, nasty candies. HP is totally a hit or miss and I agree, I never finalize a party until I see what comes in the box! I also won an Avon party and wanted it to just be a bunch of girls hanging out trying on makeup and lotions or whatever and I got a bunch of samples of the lip plumper stuff and my local Avon rep kept contacting me about how many brochures should she bring, etc. I wasn't looking for an Avon party with sales pressure, I was looking for an Avon HOUSE party with girls & make-up & fun!

This time around I just plan on having DS who is six, one of his buddies, DS who is 2 1/2 and a 1 1/2 yo cousin to watch the show and have a little party to watch the show in 3D. :)

I have never posted pics or blogged, really, will post some pics this time cuz the kids will have fun with that and it looks pretty easy! I signed up for the Scholastic one and will for the Gerber one also- the Gerber one will be cool to bring to my La Leche League meetings and the Scholastic one comes with toys it said (right before Christmas, woohoo!) and even just previewing the catalog and stuff will be cool for me and SIL.

I think the Clairol and Scholastic party are gonna be cool, hope i get in!
The Scholastic has 1-yr club subscription, my kid likes them, so that will cool for him.

So what's this mysterious coupon that everyone keeps saying they received in the kit? A coupon for what?

Did anyone get a coupon for a free Ballon Time kit with thier stuff? Our kit hasn't shown up yet and was just wondering ... We got one in our Kids Bop party stuff and the kids thought it was the coolest thing.

It was a coupon for that shampoo that we got with kidz bop party

Did you guys recieve an acceptance email or did the package just come?? Thanks

20% off and free shipping at circle of friends website (they use to have this stuff at Bath & Body works and we really liked it.)

The e-mail came a couple days after I applied.

It says on the House Party website the kits won't ship until Wednesday. It says also that some kits maybe late.

How can they be late the party is on Sat and the point of the party is to show the new Foster'd Home DVD. I haven't received my package let and my party keeps growing.

You may want to take that up with the people who are actually sending the products. I'm only relaying the information that was posted on the website.

Party Packs Are In the Mail!
Good news, partygoers...

Shipping has begun for CN3D host packages!
Most hosts should receive their packages early next week. However, please note that some packages may take a bit longer.

All hosts should receive their packages by the end of the day on Wednesday, October 3rd.

This is via the www.houseparty.com

No, it didn't say that some packages may be late. It said all packages would be received by Wednesday:

So don't panic, your kit will be there. :)

I don't know what it "may take a bit longer" means but in my book that's late.

I Got An Email Today That Said Wed. Or The Next Day. Happy 3d Party. I'm Starting To Think I'll Never Get It....

Hmmmmm....

Okay guys~this is interesting. I received via Fedex a Cartoon Network party kit.....that I never signed up for! I had signed up for the Friday Night Lights party (and didn't get in) and had decided to pass on the CN one because I was already hosting a Maybelline party and another event so I didn't see how I would get all of it done.

My daughter is ecstatic and has already started orgainzing her little friends for the party~however the kits are everything all of you have described and less!! I also received the aforementioned dried up, hard hair paint in addition to a Welcome to your Kidzbop Party coupon for a discount on Kidzbop crap (instead of a Cartoon Network one).

Wouldn't you be ticked off if you were the network hiring this company to hype your TV show, network, etc. and they cannot even get the promo kit out together right or use the promo stuff for the right client???:mmph:

Hoping those of you that actually ordered one receive yours~it's essentially plates, cups and the DVD.

First it says, "Most hosts should receive their packages early next week. However, please note that some packages may take a bit longer." In other words, most packages will arrive early in the week, but some may take a bit longer than that.

Then it says, "All hosts should receive their packages by the end of the day on Wednesday, October 3rd."

So, even if your package is one of the later ones, it should still be in your possession by the end of the day tomorrow. (And it looks like mine will be showing up tomorrow, since I didn't get mine today.)

When you said packages were going to be late, she thought you mean they'd be arriving too late to host the party. Not late as in Tuesday or Wednesday. :)

There was a Kidzbop party, I'm sure they're just using up the rest of what they had and threw it in, in addition to the rest of the stuff. Hey whatever, it's all free, we didnt' have to pay for it so what the heck! Enjoy your parties everyone, the kids wont know the difference... they just want 3D glasses, cartoons, and candy! :)

You didn't receive any 3D glasses, Sweetwinter?

I didn't receive the package yet, I hope I'll get it tomorrow.

I got mine today Thank God I was freaking alittle lolLOL . As you can tell this is my first house party. I guess I'm not running to Blockbuster Sat now for a DVD.:teeth:
