Free Cartoon Network 3D Houseparty-*Party Date 10/6*

I received mine today. I had originally signed up for this one, but decided not to have a party after I got the email saying that I was accepted. I didn't send back the info to confirm that we would have a party. Today, the package arrived with all the party supplies, but we aren't even having a party!

Once you're accepted, that's it, Bartolec. You don't have to do anything for them to send you the kit.

Maybe you could give the 3D glasses and tattoos out to kids in the neighborhood?

they sent a rediculous amount of glasses. i was thinking i could give them to my nieces for their preschool to watch the show when im done w/it.

I'm sending ten pairs of glasses to my nephews so they can watch the 3D episode when it airs on 10/12 with their friends. They're huge Foster's Home fans!

if you look on the house party site they DO have other party favors you can print out. be creative there is plemty you can do with what came in the box!!

I plan to use my cups for a beverage. My plates for food. And my napkins to wipe faces and hands. The tatoo's will be fun, but as our's will be a kids party I can't think of anything real imaginative. Ellie, I'm guessing after a few jello-shots you could come up with something. :teeth:

The hair paints will go in the trash as they're dried up. The glasses and dvd we'll use appropriately. The certificate and the coupon I suppose could be paper airplanes but PLEASE....if you have some other imaginative ways we could party with these objects...PLEASE share them!!!

(Don't be offended please, I'm trying to be playful here. ;) )

I am usually like - oh it's free so whatever - but I am really glad we ended up not being able to host the party this week. Not only did the package arrive late but the 3D glasses are ridiculous. Punching them out is a pain and guess what - they don't fit the kids face right. If you are having the party you better get some string or elastic string so that you can make a hole punch in the back so you tie them to the back of their head. What a super pain. I told my daughter we probably will not reschedule unless she helps me with these glasses. lol

Oh yeah! We're gonna get creative with the tattoos.

:cocktail: :cocktail: :cocktail: :cocktail:

Thanks for the info Ellie. I didn't realize that if you are accepted, they automatically send you the kit. I assumed since I didn't confirm, that I wouldn't receive it. :pumpkin:

My glasses were already punched out, bundled in a pack of about 50

Mine too, Beaner. There must have been two sets of glasses shipped out.

(And I'm still wearing mine!) :spy:

Hey everyone, my party's not until Wednesday, and I haven't viewed the DVD yet. Without spoiling anything for me, can someone answer one question for me: is Cheese in this episode?

I do not recall anyone resembling cheese. I asked my 5 year old and he said "no" but you never know. If I have a chance tomorrow I'll put it on again and let you know. It was basically a Halloween story. Who ever posted about the glasses being difficult was right. Good thing I read it and put them together early. Even so, hardly anyone kept them on the whole time as they were pretty ill-fitting as an adult and worse for the kids. They mostly had to hold them up to their eyes. But still, we all had fun. Hope everyone else had a good time at thier parties and good luck w/yours Ellie!

Thanks for the info, Cybermom. And thank your little guy for me. I  Cheese!

i got this on friday, it was pretty nice package. a huge set of 3d glasses...surprisingly, they gave that much, of those, but didn't match the same numbers for cups and napkins. still great to have.

i wonder if these glasses will work with any 3d show out there.

I agree the 3d glassed were a pain in the tush! Instead of sending out 50 pairs you had to put together yourself and didn't fit right they could have sent nicer ones and only sent out half that amount. They didn't stay on at all during the cartoon!

Yes you can host more than one. I have hosted 3 so far. Good luck everyone in getting in.
