I figured. Atleast I found my operating system disk. I have hardly even used that pc since I purchased it but from what I hear windows 7 is much better anyways. from what I understand when installing the windows 7 it will ask you if you want to upgrade or do a clean installation. Do you guys think one way would be better than the other?.... What kills me is that I spent a ton of time getting everything installed on my new pc when my old one got damaged by lightning. I haven't even used it much so its not fun thinking about having to reinstall every thing but I really want windows 7 so I guess it will be worth it!

I would definitely do a clean install. Just make sure you back-up everything important first. Plus I believe I read that a clean install will be much quicker than an upgrade. FYI that's what I plan on doing.
 
Yeah, upgrades can be sketchy from time to time. I recommend a full install.

I am a host for the Avocados from Mexico House Party and just received an email from UPS with the tracking number for my party pack. I'm sure with the shipment for the Window 7 House Party containing the software they will definitely be shipped with tracking info.
 
By the way:

Party Pack should be arriving, from what I remember, on October 10th, 2009. It might depend on your party date, though.

You must do a good job, lol. I haven't done this before so besides the pictures and videos, ect is there anything else you can do to better your chances in the future? Do you upload a ton of pics ect? .... Watch me blow this one!
 
I've applied for maybe 4 or 5 and I've been a finalist in I think all but one. Funny thing is, all the times I was a finalist I wasn't able to respond in time because I was on vacation or on a business trip and didn't check that e-mail account.

This was the only one I'm actually able to participate in, but what's even funnier (to me at least) is that I was on the last day of my vacation when I received the finalist notification for this one, but I did respond in time. :lol:

Maybe you should stay home more???

I've been trying for 2 years I think and this is the first I have been a finalist on even. Hmm.... Maybe I should go on vacation more often??:)
 
I got accepted, but sadly we can't host the party - so we emailed them and they said the party packs had already been sent out - and that we can keep it - no need to return it even though we can't host the party - oh well we tried to cancel - I suppose we can always donate the goodies to our neighbors ... and have a door to door party of sorts ...
 
Nicely done, Rej! I scheduled the party on the same day I usually have parties in my home, so there wouldn't be any scheduling conflicts. I'll probably still be handing out some of the good stuff to my friends over the week.
 
I wonder if the party packs were sent out yet. Can't wait to get it!!

I was reading the site and some said they had received emails that their party packs were being shipped. So some are already in transit. I have yet to receive my email yet, I am dying over here, cant wait.

Anyone receive their email that their PP was being shipped yet?

i just got an email with tracking number to be delivered the 7th im in central florida now im excited....keep an eye out for emails!
