(Filled) Windows 7 Launch Party - House Party ~Apply now!

I like this norton version - hated the earlier editions - but the reviews said it taxed it less which is true - but I want my key code before 30 days expires ... should have been in the email but not there ... hmm

After applying and filling out the form-it will give you a 30 day trail , houseparty will send you your key to activate before your 30 days run out , once actived you will have 366 days of protection.

Speaking for myself, I've often said that you couldn't give me a copy of Norton. And what do you know... someone did. Lol, I will see if I can get the key without installing it. If I can get it I'll post it here for the first person who is brave enough to put that on their computer. I can't think of any other software maker who has created a cleaner for their own software other than Norton. Don't believe it, search for Norton removal tool. Or just click here - http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039 . It is the hardest thing ever to get off of some computers. As a tech, I recommend downloading that tool BEFORE installing. Spent more time on removing that stuff..........

I tried it - did not task computer in anyway - but slowed down shutdown and start up - which is a known fault of Norton - so I uninstalled it which went pretty easy - no horror stories - and all is back to normal - use Microsoft Security Essentials which is free and no system problems - start up and shut down are good too

I got the original email but I won't be installing this monster - it slows down your system dramatically. I used Internet Security for a few years before switching to AVG Free Edition, and I noticed a HUGE difference in system performance.

Yea, I read a lot of reviews before actually installing it and it seems that It used to be a big problem but I heard that it is not such a "HOG" now. I installed it and so far It seems ok. The reviews for the 2009 version are much better than the older versions.

I wish I had of read this before installing it.......

Here's my review: Bloatware. Bloatware. Bloatware.

What are you trying to say, spaz?

FYI I didn't install it, but I did request the key just in case MSE doesn't work out for some reason. BTW what's your opinion on MSE?

I haven't tried MSE. The reviews seem OK for it.

Got my activation key from Symantec for a 1-year subscription to Norton Internet Security 2010 for being a House Party Host. I'm thinking I'm going to stay with the Kaspersky Internet Security, so maybe I'll give away the Norton key at my party.

Has anyone else received the activation code? So far I haven't received mine. Still not sure if I want to continue using it yet or not.
