The last time they did a test drive offer it was for Chrysler & it was a great Dior set. They canceled most people's requests because of all the dealer codes being given out online. I went to the dealer yesterday & actually got the code from them & a business card. No one ever makes you do the test drive so it takes just a few minutes. I know that when they start to cancel/question where the codes came from, I'm covered.

Yeah, but couldn't everyone just say they went down there? How would you actually prove you went there in person? Video Surveillance? LOL. I actually went down and me and my husband test drove the Ram...but we could have easily just found it online like everyone else....there's no way to prove it.

That's why they just canceled most people's incentives last time. I went to the dealer & because I did, I had no problems arguing with them about it. Originally they wanted me to go back to the dealership but that made me angry because I was already there. There were issues when I went last time, the dealership had problems w/the offer, they didn't know about it & had to make phone calls. I know that the the dealership that I went to was called & because they remembered the incident, I did receive the incentive. I imagine that it will happen this time too, that's why I got a business card. A lot of people will fight that did not go to the dealer but I need to be honest about what I do.

Anyone of us can go get a business card from the dealership. Much less, we can just get a sales person name from off of a local commercial or out of their newspaper ad. I agree, there's no way anyone can prove how we got the code. They don't remember each and every person that comes in the dealership.
 
Did anyone else notice that the email you receive with your certificate code doesn't actually say you have to take a test drive?

I don't just mean in "NJ, OH, TN or MD". It says "talk to a dealer OR take a test drive". So from reading that all you would have to do is talk to a dealer.
