(Expired) allure august update

Received the Benefit lipstick today USPS Priority Mail. Big box for a little lipstick, and it cost them a lot to send it, too. That's the last thing I was missing from August. The End.

Well, not quite the end...today I got another Goody brush, Fed Ex. Have no idea why. It's a little different from the first one, but from the same family.
 
I've received all but 2 items, one of which they did say was coming. It's not worth my time to chase them down any further.
 
:mmph: I just got an email from Fekkai Coiff that my prize was returned by FedEx. I have received lots of items via FedEx unless they addressed it incorrectly. The address I gave them was correct and yet they will not send it out again. WTF is that all about? I wrote them back telling them what I thought!!! :cussing:

What?!! That's just crazy, I don't understand why they can't just verify your shipping address and reship it!! :rant:
 
Muff: I would definitely contact Allure and forward to them Fekkai's ridiculous e-mail. I'm with Joyce--they should just re-ship. Good luck.
 
Still have not heard back from some of the companies . . .

Guess I will have to contact Allure, was hoping that I did not have to do that!

wondering if its even worth going through the bother of setting my alarm on my phone just so I can try to win something that it sounds like I will have to fight to get. This is nuts if you win they should be making a max effort to see that you get your prize.

Which items are you missing? Write to [email protected] and to the company as well. I may have e-mail contact for a few companies or I can tell you where to look.

Well today I received a FedEx number from that lady....must have won her over with my persuasive email. LOL
She says this is the third and last time it will be shipped. Not sure when exactly the "first" time was supposed to be.....I wish it showed the address it was being shipped to on the tracking page. I think they didn't put the Apt # on the label before and that's why it was returned. Guess I'll just have to wait until Thursday and see if it comes......:noidea:
 
I'll be waiting on pins and needles until Thursday. Maybe you should stand outside your building and wait for the truck! Grab the box and run like hell.
 
Still have not gotten the gardeners hand cream from Le Couvent Des Minimes . . .

Contacted the Le Couvent Des Minimes company after reading I won (One thing total!!!!!) from August, and never heard back. Now their website has changed, and there is no contact info.

I have emailed [email protected], but nothing so far. Anyone know how to contact the Le Couvent Des Minimes people?

Well, if there's no Apt # on it, I was thinking I need to stand on the side of the main road - a sign with my name in all capital red letters around my neck. Think that would work??? :rofl:

They used to sell this brand at Bath & Body Works. Maybe they can give you a phone number or e-mail address. I think they were going to stop carrying it, tho. I'd keep on Allure about it and ask them for their contact link.

OK, this is odd, but I just received Ojon TUNU Elastik Flexible Finishing Hairspray First 500 from August 9th. Wasn't on the winner's list to receive, but I'm not sending it back!
 
I got my hair conditioner today! I didn't even have to resort to extreme measures! LOL

I received it today also. I think they're sending out to a lot of people who are not on the list for it (I read about it on another site). Maybe they extended it the first 1000 or something. Not complaining--and not sending mine back either! And wouldn't it be nice if every company sent the prize just because you entered the drawing? Now I'm up to nine wins for August!
