I wanted to give an updated on my quest to get those winner's list, I spoke to Julie at Allure again and she said they are still working on getting them together and they should be going out shortly. I told her that I have been waiting for months and I would contact the editor soon.
 
Nico: Do you have an e-mail address for Julie? Sounds like their usual stalling. They aren't going to mail you over 300 pages. But maybe you'll get the list in an e-mail attachment like I did last year. Wouldn't hurt if I tried also. How could they be "working on them," since they should have notified all the sponsors back in September? That means they had a complete list to send each company, right? They are so full of it.
 
Yes, I told her that the list would have to be emailed and she has my email address. So, I played nice and told her I would give her a couple more weeks and then I want the editor. No, I don't have her email address, but next time I call I will get so when I email the editor and complain I will have her name.

Do you have the editor's e-mail? I've been wanting to send her a message for a long time now. When I got the list last year, it was all done in one e-mail exchange. The way it went was that I just told them I wanted it, they said to send envelope, etc., I said that didn't work and could they just check for my name, then they said: "Here, you check it," and attached the list. I couldn't believe my eyes. The list was complete and obviously readily available. This nonsense about them still compiling the list months and months later is ridiculous and simply a tactic they have used with others over and over. You probably will never get it (sorry to say, but I hope I turn out to be wrong). If you have the full name and phone number of the person you spoke with, I'm willing to give it a try without mentioning you. You can PM me.

This deep purple polish looks sophisticated on short, softly rounded nails.

I got 4 but if only it was a nicer color, oh well better than nothing

I thought it was a nice color just right for the shorter nail style thats in fashion now. My niece will love it :teeth:

You know my dollar $ store has name brand polish I buy a few bottles once in a while revlon, maybelline etc. Its 2 bottles each a different color in one package for $1 :clap::high5:

You got 4? I've said it before and I totally believe it. You're hiding in our mailboxes taking our prizes. lol I thought only one per person was in the rules. *shrugging*

I'm giving up on allure. In a year I've gotten one item. Seems like a waste of time to me. :(

fancy, congrats, sept was a popular month for allure and for some of us. i think i did better in sept then the whole month of august :sad:

do you have the reference name was it fedex or ups??
 
hey guys i just got the Clinique Turnaround Instant Facial in the mail! It included a message card saying congrats, you are a winner of Allure's November Free stuff. It's so awesome when they do that so you don't have to hunt the forums!

It came by USPS so no reference I hope you all get one Monday :teeth:
