I have waited until my lotus notes alarm goes off at work,
watched the world time clock and entered a few seconds early and
entered exactly at 12 noon using the world time clock as well. didn't write it down.. but i did all three. but it did me no good. I won more the year before when I was clueless!!!! :ohwell: :confused:

(was winning occasionally when i entered at noon using the world time clock.)
 
I have my times for each and everyone of the giveaways, well, except the randoms. It's really gross when you see that SusieSue who enters 3 seconds after you gets everything. :( But, I'm a big girl and I will just keep on going.

Allure can't bring me down.
 
I got the Borba Cashmere Fiber Lip Kix in the mail yesterday... I didn't write down all what I entered for but I don't remember it from anything else so I figured it was from Allure. It's a good thing it was free, it's okay but I certainly wouldn't pay $10.50 for it (the price on Borba's website)!
 
I am trying to be a big girl, but it still stings that I enter on time, and got two things. I am still upset that my request for the winner's list never came. Allure should think about their loyal readers more.
 
I don't think their pretty little heads can run a contest like this right. At least they are trying, right?

Did anyone ever see the Pantene hair mask giveaway come up yet?

The Pantene hair mask ($3.99) was supposed to be put up on 1/20/2009 at 10 am EST. I kept checking daily and yesterday they finally put up their Feb allureaccess page and it was listed but the link never went there-it just was registering you for further giveaway info (like that would be worth anything-they can't even handle the current ones and get the dates right!!)

Page 95 Feb Allure talks about the Pantene hair mask giveaway.

Anyone ever see this giveaway happen this week?

I checked this morning and the link for Pantene is now gone (it was under the Allure It Giveaway). . . they usually leave it up all month to sucker you into giving them your info . . . after the giveaway is over . . .

I am lost . . . what is up with them??

It opened up around 11am this morning.
 
Thanks for the post about the Pantene mask . . .

Was that 11 am EST today?? I was there and I did not see it, was this maybe Central or other time?

I wish this thread was titled correctly (August, 2008), since when we all receive items in 2010 and beyond, we won't know where the thread went. Things are getting in here which are not really related to the August Blowout and that's going to get confusing. I received two things today, and have to figure out where they are from--a Jane Iredale lip compact and a L'Oreal Double Extend mascara. Will try to put them in the right threads. One was from Allure, the other from L'Oreal (per the envelopes).

Well, I can't find a thread for either item, but I vaguely remember the Jane Iredale being an Allure Access or something like that. The Mascara--I haven't a clue. If anyone knows, please advise.

OK--Jane Iredale from Nov/Dec Allure Access. Vem bumped the thread! Thanks. Still a ? on the mascara.
