10 Things You Should Not Buy New

But did your cat cough up a hair ball in your morning Cheerios???

Did you really need to comment on a thread that died over 2+ years ago???

"Nothing for nothing"???? Just sayin', not for nuthin', where'd you grow up?

WHY IS THIS CRAP POSTED?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! LOL, ARE THERE 'USED' TIMESHARES? WTF?!

Everybody loves a new car, c'mon, you know you want a new Challenger.

@Guest, yes there is a secondary market for timeshares where they sell for fifty cents on the dollar compared to new. There is a huge markup on new timeshares and many are underutilized and get unloaded at huge discounts. New timeshares are sold under high pressure tactics to people that don't make the best decisions under pressure.

I don't agree with the kids toys, outright dangerous to my childs health. Everything else on the list is spot on.....and a great post by the way its good to see these once in a while to get some feedback....other than the asses that go out of their way just to say 'why is this posted?. Thanks Spoofee!

I dont know why I am bothering to hop in this. If you do the math a new car is sometimes CHEAPER than a used car. Yes...impossible right? No.... if you factor in the actual USE of the used car and back out that value per mile even at just .25 a mile vs the govt rate you will find you are right back to square 1. The only reason it appears cheaper is because its had use. Then you factor in having the warranty coverage for a full 3 years or 36k on most and you also have to discount about another 1 to 2k. Less alone tires, brakes etc also that have now 20 to 35k miles on them. Its all about use. Then if thats not convincing enough for you look at your total cost. New you can snag 0% to 2% on a loan. Buy same car with 20K miles on it and you pay double that for financing. Work that back into your total cost and poof..your probably paying more than new or back to break even.

I also forgot to add that you dont pay sticker or very rarely. So when you see the original price was 40k...they may of only paid 35K. Now with you buying it 2 years later for 29K you think you just saved 11K and are some shopping hero...when in reality you paid only 6k less....but the car has 20,000 miles on it now, wear, less warranty etc....you are at a wash as it never sold for 40k

Dumbest post from Sophia Davis yet. Spoofee jumped the Shark a long time ago.

Yes, existing timeshares are sold on secondary markets, as in, a timeshare original owner now wants to sell. However based on my limited personal experience the good used ones are more expensive than they were when new.

This is the OPs opinion not based on anything else. Move along nothing to see here.

Why are low quality posts from 6 years ago getting churned back to the front page?

So I need to wait to buy a book cause someone said so? I'm paying for it, I buy when 'I' say so. Done.

#11 dont buy a new house. They are slapped together by low skilled illegals & they start having major issues only a few years down the road. Go to ANY new homesite if you dont believe me...

I come here for limited time pricing deals on items to purchase, not ill-informed opinion posts that have no factual backing.
