We have yellow flies and they bite! They suck, I hate them! They even bite my dogs! But their "Season" is short, a few weeks in July. I wonder why God made such things.....????

lol. I havent seen a black bear on our property, but they are around. There was one trotting down the road the other night. As for the coyotes, I see them alot but I dont think they bother the property much because of the dogs. They bark ALOT and my brother says that helps keep them and the bears away. The turtle is sweet, he isnt a snapper. We give him lettuce from time to time. I live in the panhandle in the middle of the forrest! We have deer too, but they are scrawny little things. Not like deer in Ohio. You hit a deer in Ohio - you total your car. You hit a deer here - you brush some hair off and keep going. lol

Groundhog.....yes, that is what is missing. We do quite well here with the turtle who lives in the front yard, the coyotes who live in the woods behind the house, the black bears who ate all the black raspberries on the front of the property, and whatever gets in the trash on the porch when I forget to take it to the dumpster. But I think we are def lacking in the groundhog dept. I havent seen the river otter lately, what do you offer in that dept? LOL

we first headed toward NYC to visit my husbands college room mate. We are in the hotel lobby waiting for him now and we will go to dinner. Then we are going to mass to Rockport and the surrounding area. Won't be gone long and brought the puter with us. Rain didn't HELP the garage sale. Still have plenty of stuff to get rid of. Will pack it up when I get home.
