btw.. i try to reply to posts.. but every time i do.. i seem to kill the conversation. there have been so many threads with me ending the conversation... i'm the official conversation killer.. if BD would grant me the title

I am just curious about the posts being edited. Are you referring to ones where we remove links after the owner requests or what? (Sorry, I haven't been reading all of the threads lately.)

And I do thank you, preco, for having the courage to start the thread.

What utter nonsense. Joyce, thank you for all the deals you post, but when it comes to open dialog and solving problems, this is a non-starter.

For example -- User1 wants to have meaningful discussion about some topic. User2 knows nothing about the topic and hijacks the thread for some other purpose. It's impossible for both those users to get what they want.

There always has to be an administrative decision about what level of hijacking is allowed, what level of seriousness, what level of levity, what level of cultural sensitivity, etc. As long as such decisions are made not capriciously, and applied uniformly, the online community will reach some stability.

But there's always going to be some people who don't get what they want.

edited posts - The spammers, reposts and links requesting to be removed, etc. should be done, no problems there.

I know that, all I was trying to do was break the somber mood in this thread. Everyone seemed so sad and were giving up, I'm sure we can find a resolution for all of the problems people have mentioned. :hug:

By the way, you are very welcome, I'm glad you can use some of the things I have posted. :wave:

LOL, I think thread hijacking just happens, there is no stopping it because it happens to EVERY thread, although with that said, if someone is serious about responding to a thread, they give an honest and sincere answer outside of all of the maylay.
 
hey guys, lets try to stick to the original subject of the thread. Both mods, and spoofers should be able to voice their concerns about the goings ons of Spoofee. This should be a safe place for discussion.
