Sorry to head about that...

It sucks to be the train crew on the train that hits someone. Take it from me, it is not something you forget about easily. I have had 2 fatalities while I was running the train, a deputy sheriff and a 8 year old boy. Neither one was a suicide though.

My SIL, who's about 37 weeks pregnant, just got diagnosed with H1N1.

:yikes: That sucks!

Oh, Choo that is beyond sad for all involved. :hugs:

Don't you wonder how a grown man (the deputy) gets hit by a train and it is not a suicide? Recently we a had a local man, a young adult, not homeless or mentally ill, hit and killed by the train and they reported almost instantly that it was not a suicide. They believe he may have fallen alseep on the tracks. ????? It made me so sad because it doesn;t seem logical to me that this poor man would choose to sleep on the tracks and not undertand the outcome.

I would love to have the Super Power of taking away everyone's profound sadness.........

Is she going to be okay? Is she being hospitalized? At least the baby is full term if they do a C-Section or induce early.

...and what surgery are you scheduled for?????
I think I asked before, but I missed the answer and forgot in what thread I asked...

Re: the train...and the day before that another local high school student was killed by a train on the tracks. Very sad.
I am sure you all have seen by now the tipsy girl who fell onto the tracks Friday night in Boston and came within INCHES of being hit. Of course it is all over the news here but now I see it on the internet and CNN. Incredible footage. Tonight's news update is that she is going to quit drinking!!! Ya think???

I'm afraid the garnish in that drink is inappropriate.

Why oh why does my son have to have a Star Wars cake/cupcakes for his b-day party Saturday? Why oh why do I feel it needs to be homemade?
