One of the big 'ticker-off-ers' for me....is when my hubby says to me, "whatever makes you happy" (like he's doing me this big favor)....:rant: Why? Because it's not like we're coming to a 'meeting of the minds', he's just doing it to 'keep peace', 'dismiss me' and 'be done with it'..... From his point of view, he thinks he's doing the 'right thing'.....:doh:...from the other POV it isn't very respectful and one doesn't feel 'valued' at all :nono: just 'manipulated' and 'tolerated'....make sense?

P.S. That is not the same thing as saying, "whatever you want is fine with me" :nono:....just to clarify :wink:

Now, I'm not saying that's what's going on by you.....I'm just saying a pet peeve of mine that is beyond comprehension for him.....:yesnod:

If he does something that makes you angry, when he apologizes for making you angry and them sincerely asked what it is he did, do you tell him, or do you say something like "If you think really hard you'll know"?
If any of you do that, you've now been notified, that is BS! It's a guessing game that he can't possibly win. Everyone loses.

OMG I would have been soooo :mad: and told them all about it :rant: My neighbors insist on parking there vehicles on the road in front of my mailbox :doh: so the mailman is unable to pull up to it. The one day I was outside and in a loud voice said "park in front of your own fvcking mailbox"... it's been weeks and they haven't parked on the road since :rofl: :pound:
 
After all these years why do I still have to -

Ctrl + Alt + Delete to sign on to a computer???

I watched Harry Potter today and it was good! One of my top movies for Harry. I loved Hermione's outfits though. :)
 
Hey everyone. It's good ole Babs here. Just wanted to thank everyone for the well wishes as it really did mean alot to me. I have just been resting since the procedure was done. I have mild pain and I am very sore. Now, it is a waiting game. The dr. said it could take up to 3-6 weeks to take affect but this procedure might be able to help me be pain free for 6 months. So, we shall see.

did you put meat tenderizer on the stings?
 
You can...mix it with vinegar.

However, I think baking soda with vinegar (make a paste out of it) is better. At least that's what's been used on me before.

need a funny story?

I sat on a bee when I was seven. My mom slathered a mixture of baking soda and vinegar on my bum. I still cried though... although, I don't remember it bothering me much longer than that afternoon.
 
I saw a rainbow today while I was driving!
