Sometimes, You Just Can’t Win, Part 2
Call Center | American Fork, UT, USA

Me: “Hi, this is Alyssa, how can I help you?”

Caller: “Hi, yeah, someone from your company called me and they were being all friendly to me over the phone.”

Me: “… Oh? Were they rude to you in anyway?”

Caller: “No… it’s just… they were being all nice… and I don’t like it when people pretend to be my friend, like they know me!”

Me: “All right, but I don’t understand what the problem is with that.”

Caller: “…”

Me: “You know what, I’ll just go ahead and take you off our calling list, okay? You have a great day.”
 
Perfect! I'm going to use that approach next time the telemarketers attack.
 
I am so cold. I can't believe it's already October. Summer went by too fast. :(


Ohhh a spider just ran across the floor but Annie got it before it could hide and later torment me. :p I trained her well and no, I didn't crawl on the floor eating bugs. LOL

I find it funny that four days ago I was wearing shorts, a tank top and flip flops...today I am wearing socks and shoes, jeans, a t-shirt and hoodie.
 
Amber stayed home from school today and now I feel a little tickle in my throat. :sick:

I went shopping today. Bought four dressy shirts and I paid 70 bucks!

I dont miss that......

It is so great here right now - the way fall should be. Warm, sunny days and cool nights.

I'm a newbie. That was my first one. I think I'm going to hold off on anymore. I'm still trying to become a vegetarian. :p

Um.....where's my invite? This fall weather is definitely colder than it normally is. If this is any indication of where winter is heading I'm going to hybernate ALL winter long.
 
It is raining today. Sometimes I hate Seattle weather. We all have the day off today but what is there to do on a rainy day without spending a lot of money?
 
Just got back from the local Farm City day! The kids and I had a blast. :)
