:mmph::mmph: I've had to rename my Rat terrier Miss Mollie dog! Came home yesterday wearing a sun dress (a very pretty one by the way that I'd just bought at Kohl's who had a great sale!) She doesn't usually jump at me but when I walked in she jumped off the couch and hit the back of my leg with her very rat like claws! :zip: I can't repeat all I said LOL after I screamed but when I looked down there was a puddle of blood on the carpet. She'd actually taken a chunk of my leg with those weapons of hers! My husband rushed me into the other room (letting the ice cream melt in the trunk, silly man!) slapped a wad of paper towels on it before rescuing the carpet and the ice cream! We were both shocked when we saw it, actually discussed whether I should go get stitches. So now my beautiful baby girl is Miss Mollie Kruger...Freddie just didn't fit her! It wasn't all her fault my leg was very swollen and tight which I think made it split open when she sliced it with her nail. So do they ever declaw dogs???
Ohhhh I'm sorry you were hurt, but the way you described it was very funny. :hug:LOL
OMG, what kind of ice cream was it?
That sounds like something I would say. :claps:LOL

No, but they do sell nail clippers for dogs. Indoor dogs don't runaround enough to wear the claws down naturally, they need to be clipped
We do clip her nails we just got her a new pair the last pair just didn't seem to do the job very well even though we changed the blade. This one came with a nail file which LOL I'm half afraid to try out, she's gonna flip out but going to have to do it anyway and with hubby's help I may have some success, hope it helps. I've thought about getting her some caps that I was told they have for dogs nails. Doubt it would be good for her to wear them all the time but I love playing with her (but due to very fragile skin it is like a blood bath when I do ) and would like some so I can do that. Was half joking about declawing her but there sure are times I really consider it seriously and start thinking hmmm I do have some pliers  joking I promise!

Thank you crazybutt (omg that sounds so rude LOL but it does say to call u that ) and yes after all was said and done I did have to laugh to. Here I was bleeding like crazy worrying about the flipping ice cream (moo bars and fudgesicles yum)!

Instead of using the manual file.....do you have a dremmel? (power tool) They have stone filing attachments that might be smoother and easier to use to file her nails......:sus:

When we do my dogs nails, they're always really sharp AFTER we clip them. The file would be a good idea, but not very feasable if it's like our dog. I think a Dremal tool might spook her too, although I think when you take them in to have it done that's what they do. For a while we just had the pro's do her nails, until I saw them do it once. Our dog has a bad neck and I was standing there telling them they have to support it and be careful etc...and 2 tech's flipped her on her side as I'm trying to tell them to stop and she's freaking out flailing around..

anyway we quit doing that and my husaband just cuts them himself. She respects him.

Thanks for the advice, going to look into it and maybe talk to the vet. She's really timid especially when it comes to her nails, my oldest sister was showing off telling us we don't cut her nails short enough and she hurt her badly didn't think she'd ever stop bleeding. After that I found steptic to stop the bleeding in case that happened again but before that she was pretty good about it since then though she is pretty nervous, not nearly what she was just afterit happened, she trusts us now but LOL just to a certain point.

Thank you and yes I think it would spook her too much but there has to be an answer and I also used to take her in but I wasn't really crazy about how they would handle her fears. LOL too bad I can't afford a puppy spa for her! She's such a momma's girl though it's hard to imagine that she wouldn't flip out if I left her there.

That second pic looks like a warped Tom Cruise. Although I guess all of Tom is technically "warped"

Oh my goodness girl! You are hooked. I love it! :claps: He is addicting isn't he? I listen to him night and day and I never get tired of Josh.
I love this picture of him in his new house. He is such a cutie!

He's so cute and boyish. I want to bring him home and cook for him.

My husband was looking over my shoulder the other day and said "Sharon looks like a guy". I was like "Duh, that's Josh Groben you neandrathal", then I had to tell him the story. But I couldn't remember where you were and I'm too lazy to search. Was it East Coast or West?

LOL That is funny. I live on the West Coast. I live in the Seattle area.

Have you ever had one of those weeks where everything goes wrong?:verysad:

Monday our well runs dry. No water at all. Luckily our very nice, polite neighbor (aka Snibble) let us fill up buckets of water.

Tuesday DH decides he wants to get a front loading washer because it saves on water. I go to Lowes where he found one that he liked. I did not know until I got there that it had been returned and repaired. DH still wants it so I go ahead and buy it. When he gets home with the washing machine, he hooks it up. I hear "Uh, Tracy, we have a problem." There seems to be something wrong with it because it started smoking! So, of course, I am saying "Load it back up and return it!" But no, he wants to keep it and have it repaired because it is under warranty. Not to mention we got a very good deal on it (geez, I wonder why?)

This morning, he calls the repair shop, and they cannot get anyone out here to fix it until Friday. He also wants to use no water for at least one more day (I was able to take a quick shower). Then, because I have had such a bad three days, decide that I really want a milkshake from Chick Fil A. That spills all in my car! Not to mention all over me. And no way to wash my white shirt until Friday!

I believe I need a nap. Or else something to make me very happy.:cocktail:

I got some costume pieces for my guy. I believe his splicer costume will turn out well. I think mine will too.
