If he doesn't turn down that fan, I'm going to freaking freeze! :snow:

I am right there with you!! Fan on warp tornado speed and the A/C on 65, here I am on the other side of the bed, not 6 inches from him wrapped in sheets and a thick comforter shivering, and he is half nekky and snoring, :(:verysad: :teeth:

I am right there with ya girls.
When we lived in NY couple years ago, our house did not have central a/c.
Love of my life got a window unit & put it in our bedroom window.
One night I woke up freezing!!!! I got up, put on sweats got back under my comforter. It was the middle of a hot humid summer 90+ and in a 2 story house you know heat rises. That fool was laying there in his drawers with not a single cover on him

He always sleeps with a fan but always got the little sissy cheapo fans that would break in a few months. So for Christmas I bought him a nice, expensive fan for him to use. Christmas night he came out from the bedroom ( I was prego and sleepin on the couch), woke me up by hugging me and kissing me. I said "what is going on? what is that for? He said "for my fan, it is so awesome ! It blows the coldest air - it is Super Fan!" lol

I got water up my nose while swimming today and now my sinuses are killing me. :verysad:

why would someone name their child "Doolittle?"
:noidea:

Because Doolot is just plain crazy. :p
Ok, what's the story?

Yes, Doolot is much more crazy.....

I was all snuggled up in my crook of the couch last night, surfing around on the net and the movie Coal Miner's Daughter came on. The remote was totally out of reach and I wasnt getting up to get it. So it played on and I caught that Loretta Lynn's husband's first name was Doolittle.....now this is based on a true story, so I assume this is his real name? Why would someone name there child that? And what does it mean? Does he "do little?" Is his "doo little?" :noidea:

Even funnier, she calls him "Doo" for short. LOL

My husband walked in and said, "Good Lord woman, why are you watching this and where is the remote." lol

That is the story......

UPDATE: I looked it up online....His first name was Oliver, Doolittle was his nickname.....whew, thank God........

From Wikipedia:
She was married to Oliver Vanetta Lynn, commonly known as "Doolittle," "Doo," or "Mooney" (for running moonshine), on January 10, 1948, at 13 years of age.

It was a nickname

I had a nosebleed about 5 months ago that started and wouldn't stop. When it started coming out of my tear ducts, my boss drove me to an ENT specialist to have my nose catherized. I looked like I was crying blood...it was BIZARRE.

We lovingly refer to that as the "nosebleed heard 'round the world."

Have to be careful swimming around and getting water up the nose... heard on the news of stories about kids swimming and getting some sort of crazy amoebic infection!

Thanks for the heads up, BabyV!

I was changing out purses this morning and I found a $50 Macy's gift card in one. It's burning a hole in my pocket.
I love when I find stuff I stashed away. I am extremely thoughtful. :pLOL

WOW what a find! Hope you find something wonderful to get with it. LOL gift cards never last that long around me although I have several that have nothing left on them hanging out in my wallet, well next to nothing. I figure one of these days I'll put all the books a million gift cards together and with the dollar or two I have on each be able to get a whole book!
