Yea! I've seen a true sign of spring - I've seen one of the chipmunks that nest under our home --- I've missed those lil guys! :teeth:

I gotta give you a hug, sweetie :hug:. I can't believe our boys will be 20, 21 and 22 this year and the grandbabies will be 4 and 5!!!! Geez, it seems like before you graduate high school, the years go by sooooo slowly and once you're in college - lookout! And bring your camera, cause those Kodak moments don't last long, do they? I'm so glad that my sis-in-law had a baby girl last November. I love her dearly and I can get my "new baby smell" fix...Have a HAPPY cry! I'm sure he's as wonderful, insightful and intelligent as you are!

They made a home in our drywell last year. They are cute. I haven't seen them yet this year.
 
Ugh! I hate Chipmunks! We have a whole bunch in our yard. Chip, chip off the block, little chipper and probably a bunch of chipettes. Stupid tunnelers. They wreck my perennial garden!

Tell me where to send our family... I'll ship them off to you!
 
Yesterday my kids received their report cards and they all did well, except for the fact that my second grader received a 1 (the grade scale for 1st-3rd grade is 1-4 in South Carolina) in Physical Education, with a comment that he wasn't cooperative! I knew this couldn't be true because for the past two marking periods he received 4, so I went to the school this morning and his idiot gym teacher said that she meant to give that grade to another student that was listed above his name in her grade book! :mad: :mmph: She should have been paying attention and I made sure she fixed it!

Since she fixed it, am I overracting? :hmm:

Yeah, what she said! I hope she pays better attention when she's supervising the safey and well being of children! Mistakes are not to be tolerated when they effect our babies!!! :cussing:


(Unless we make them ourself and then we dish out our own guilt and punishment :o ).

I would have killed for the opportunity to look at that gym teacher and say "Drop and give me 50, you miserable little puke"!!!:argh: Sorry~I have unresolved gym teacher issues!

In all seriousness though, at least you got the satisfaction of having it resolved. We went through this last year with the teacher calling a meeting with me to say we need to work on drawing my daughter out and that she was too shy blah blah. Then NINE DAYS later she gets a progress report saying she is disruptive in class!! WHAT! Went to teacher and then principal and essentially was told NEITHER situation applied to my daughter and she was was confusing it all with two other kids....what? Can you pick my kid out of a line up? This was months into school and she only had 21 students with a full time, in class aide.

I have to look at it as being thankful we are are "there" for our kids and I feel so sad for the kids who are subjected to this crap, unchallenged by a parent.
