Hey DiGriz............

Nah......I invite people inside to feed them! Dillon is a doggy who visits daily for lunch and dog treats. He is part collie and is just a huge baby that is why he cries and carries on until his food dish gets out on the step!

whew! I was a little concerned there that you were making an old man cry! :(

On another note: My oldest started Kindergarden on Monday. I've dutifully walked him in every day. Today...only day 4..he informed me he could walk in by himself!!! :( :faint: :verysad:

I'm barely adjusting as it is! He always wanted me to walk him into pre-K 4. Luckily he let me know that is was just because we were running a little late and I will be allowed to walk him in again tomorrow! :proud:

Why do they have to grow up so dang quick?? Especially boys? If you have girls they grow closer to their mom's. With boys it's like every day they grow a little further away from me. Girls will still be w/mom in the kitchen on holidays years from now. Boys will be out in the garage or watching tv w/dad and the other guys and I'll be stuck in the kitchen w/daughter-in-laws that I probably won't even like!!!!:verysad: :mmph:

That's it..I just had to vent. Now I'm going to go hug my little guy for at least 2 hours or so.

Oh no no no CMom!! Not true at all! Sons can be very very close to their Mom's if you work at it! My son and I did a heck of a lot together. Anything that HE showed an interest in, I made it MY interest too! We spent hours in museums, movies, bookstores, fun stuff, traveling, and, we even did research together for about five years!! Meaning, we were around each other alot and still enjoyed time off apart and together. Often the more "girly girl" women (and don't send me hate mail I mean no harm, just making a point!!!) don't want to play or get dirty, or won't take an interest in the more masculine genres of living. As such, there is a huge schism, gap, alienation that can occur between mothers and sons. As your son ages, each age grouping will give you a new challenge, goal that you can work along with him and enjoy. I taught my son to cook, sew, do laundry, clean, and, do his banking and investing. Nothing wrong with a successful and independent man who can cook a special dinner, or book tickets and navigate Istanbul or Rome!!!!!!!!! :claps:

Cmom......no doubt in my mind that you and your children will remain connected, loving, and, supportive throughout this life's journey! I mean, they have YOU for a guide! Now that is a special blessing for them, and, a joy for you!! If you want to add Jeb to your list, I can FEDEX him and he can walk to school with you!! PLEASE!! TAKE HIM!!! :)

After I had my first daughter, I had to get rid of 67 pairs of shoes because my feet grew 1/2 size bigger.

That was after paring down my shoe wardrobe because we remodeled our house... I am afraid of how many I had before!!!!!!!

So... Yes! You can go shoe shoppin' to buy some more. Can I come with? :teeth:

Thanks Rags! I'm so emotional when it comes to my kids, and my dog! :proud:

Jeb can come visit us anytime. Our Beagle, Wheezie (Louise, or Wee-zell if she's feeling pretty) will show him around. :bigok:

Hey Dan! I don't appreciate you posting my picture without my permission!!:mmph:

Whatever you say
I was trying to help my buddy find a deal on a generator

:jaw: I thought I had a lot! I have between 30 and 40. and at least 20 of them are flipflops or sandals. And I just ordered a new pair Monday!

Is this an excuse for me to go out and buy more shoes?

Sure, I have those three inch heels that I pull out of hiding for dates, or special occassions, but, they are not my kinda of comfort! I am to practical minded to enjoy wearing them.:noidea: You and I sound a like on our shoe selections! Love my sandals, and, my hiking or expedition boots! And Jeb has chewed up three pair of flip flops this season! Little rascal! :)

We'll have to ask someone from NY if they have seen it.
I love accents....especially NY ones.

Those are the real things, I see it almost every day......

Why is it that everytime I need tape there is none to be found, but when I don't need it there is plenty?
The Netflix envelope was delivered to me all mangled up. For that I am closing it up using stickers. I hope this teaches them a valuable lesson.

yeah, it teaches them that they can use low-quality mailers because their customers will go to the trouble of patching them up.

Butty......you would love the accent from "Maryland's Eastern Shore" and the "Islanders!" Very lyrical, a slow cadence, and, a lingo all of its own! :)
