Well, I drove the 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid but only because there werent any 2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrids (which is what I want) withinn 300 miles, and theyre the exact same car except for body style.

And how did it go for you? Any pro's or con's you can share with us? Is there room for the dogs?!?! :)

The only con is in sheer power. When I floored it, it seemed a bit lacking. But slamming on the brakes it stopped smoothly. Its got a smooth, comfortable ride, comfortable seats, handles well and has nice, tight steering. I definitely want the MMH thanks to the test drive of the FEH.

My sinus cavity is killing me. No more handstands or flips in the pool for awhile. I also really hurt my hip too. :( :ohwell:

It sure does. What the heck am I gonna do when I'm 60???
I couldn't sleep now even if I tried. I've got a touch of "the insomnia". Last night I went to bed after 4 and tossed and turned all night til I eventually got up at 7. I could be up forev

:clown:
He he he I like your title. Very catchy!

I have a 2003 2x4 Ford Escape and I love my car. I would have gotten a Mariner but they didn't make Mariners (or Hybrids) in 2003 and I needed a new car:doh:.
I love my car. My next will be the Mariner Hybrid.

You'll love the Mariner Squid. They're fun, comfy cars. My car's engine has a lot of power, but I don't have the Hybrid so I'm sure that makes a huge difference.

There is plenty of room for dogs in my car. It looks tiny on the outside but you wouldn't believe how much room there is inside.

HEY HEY HEY!! Watch those sixty year old comments there girly!!!  Nah, not there yet, but, dam close! You poor thing, take some Sudafed every six hours, use a little Afrin Nasal Spray, and, push the water intake for a few days. Try the scuba diver "trick" for equalizing your ears in the pool...take a deep breath,go onto your side under water, hold your nose, and, "roll" under water just a few turns. Kinda like a shark or an alligator death roll! Immediate relief to equalize your ears! No more handstands for a while! ;) For sleep aid, take some herbal tea, curtail your exercise three hours prior to bedtime, have no tv or music playing, and, no lights on in the bedroom. Only "power nap" for fifteen minutes in the afternoon, but, never after three o'clock. Sure hope this helps Butty and that you get some much needed rest and soon!

I have a 2001 or 2004 Escape and I LOVE it!! I agree w/ all the room. It looks deceiving from the outside.

Aw you almost had me feeling bad there for a second. You know I wouldn't purposely offend you or anyone. *We need a wiping the sweat from your brow smilie...lol.*
The alligator death roll is what got me in trouble in the first place.
I'm used to the water...I just over did it last night.
Thanks for all the advice...that "power nap" sounds pretty good. I might go do that IN the pool. ;)

How 'bout dis one?

Now I'm confused, do you not know if your have a 2001 or 2004 vehicle?
I think that would be the whole point of me putting a 2001 OR 2004....i'm...not..entirely sure. It doesn't matter much to me. When I take it in to get repairs they know what year it is. I should add that it is definitely a 2001 or 2004. lol

Is your Escape a V6 or the I4?
It's a V6.

 Now that makes sense...:zip:

Yours has more power than the hybrid. I bet the V6 gives a good bit of power to a smaller truck.

Oh it does!! Did I mention that I love my car? I had a camaro before Betsy (Amber named her  ). I wont go back to a car...ever!!

NO NAPPING IN THE POOL! Unless there is a chair with my name on it beside yours! Wonder if you just forgot to pinch off your nose? Sure hope you are feeling better, and, you know me Butty....not much offends me! But, when it does, then the Rebel comes out to play! YEHAAAAAAAA! Be well and rest easily today.

You dont know the year of your car? And a 3 year span guess-timate?
I think the flips and flops in the pool are effecting more than just your physical body.........
