the interview went fine... there were a few questions i had to answer "i don't know" to, but they know i'm not an experienced teacher, so what can i do, right??!! better than b.s.'ing and sounding dumb... what's that saying?? oh yeah...

better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt...

anyway, they said i'll hear something in about 2 weeks, as they had over 100 applicants!!!
 
Grumble grumble!

The nearest 2008 Mariner Hybrid is almost 300 miles away so I cant even test drive one without driving five hours each way. You know, you'd think that ford wants these cars to fail or else they would make them available.

I know I can order one, but without even a test drive Im pretty loathe to do that.

The nearest Mariner Hybrid is in Gulfport, an hour away.. But its an '06! The '08 is going to feel different, sound different, handle differently, everything, so whats the stupid point?!

This past week I've been babysitting/house sitting/dog sitting for someone my mom works with. This little girl is only 10 years old and already she has a mild case of agoraphobia. Its so hard to watch her suffer as much as she does and there's nothing I can do to alleviate her anxiety.
 
Aw, I just found out tonight that the racquet club where I learned to play tennis at (15 years ago :jaw: ), burned down last year. :verysad:

Shucks, sorry to hear that Butty. It is always difficult to learn that a "Favorite Haunt" is no longer standing or available. :( The year I graduated from undergrad, the Civic Center burned down! They did indeed replace it, but, it just never seemed the same after. :(
 
We are all home again, and, regrouping. Jeb Stuart has his surgery tomorrow for his hernia, and, neutering. Luckily he can bypass the "nose job" since he is breathing much better. He also has eight teeth to be yanked out! YEOWWWW! Poor little guy....will be soft foods and lots of TLC for a week! :) :wave:

My odd comment of the day:

I went rollerskating yesterday with my husband and kids. I fell on my butt twice! I think I broke it. :crutch: :tongue:
 
Thank you Sharon! Just pit stopping by quickly, here and there. So sorry to learn of your mishaps on the skates!:( Never learned to skate myself, and, anything more than two inches sends me reeling and spinning! :) Feel better soon!:wave:
 
BROKE YOUR BUTT? owwww!!!

I was out running today (quick 2miler around the high school) and wasn't paying attention... tripped, twisted my ankle and skinned my knee BAD... Now I'm sitting here feeling sorry for myself.

At least my butt isn't broken though LOL
