OK, so I went to the thrift store to look around and see if I would be lucky and find what I needed without going retail. I didn't, but...I found a really cool Tadashi designer black cocktail dress that looks amazing on. We're talking a $200-$300 dress that I got for $8.19. woohoo!!!

When you get through playing with it, put it on eBay for $150-$200 and make yourself some wardrobe money.

Here it is. The pic is a but fuzzy. It was with a camera phone. The neck is criss crossed in front and goes around to the back. I like it.

I have no idea what to get my mom for Mother's Day.

My older brother usually gives me money and tells me to do the shopping as he has a somewhat decent job but hates shopping and is clueless. (He seriously cannot find butter in the grocery store, I am not joking. )
However he's been on the other side of the country the past 2 weeks on a business trip so I'm on my own and funds for me are somewhat limited. (only been out of college less than a year.)

Do you guys have any suggestions?:convinced:

What would you most like to get from your kids?

If I had kids, I think the thing I would want most would be thier absence. LOL

Give her a nice rose bush or a fruit tree or something. I'm getting my mom a Meyer's Lemon tree cuz Im broke too.

(ahem)
:ignore:

Oops sorry....I didn't mean to exclude you. You and I can exchange clothes. :ignore:

Last year my gift was so cheesy, but my mom loved it. Amber and I made a stepping stone for her. I layed my hands in the plaster first ( they barely fit cause my fingers are long) then Amber placed her hands IN my handprints. We painted it and decorated it w/ beads.
Amber usually gives me a planter that she painted w/ a plant inside. I wish one of the plants would last more than a year.

Can we share it? Please.....

You know when you get a home security system they put up all the little stickers on windows "Protected by 'SUCH & SUCH' Security System" - - - why is there a phone number on the sticker?
It's like an advertisement for the thieves- so they can buy one for their home.... :questionmark:

Yes, then they can analyze it for any security breaks and come visit you...:05:

i think it is so the robber can call afterwards and chastize the security company for the system not stopping their thievery. or maybe its so the thief can call and forewarn them that the alarm will soon be going off:tongue:
