I've been fighting off a cold all week. My daughter was really sick over Easter break and was kind enough to share it with me. LOL
 
Not sure what is going on in your area Faerie but I have been slammed with the flu and chest cold! Odd for me since I tend not to get colds. Stress usually weakens our systems, and the weather here is God awful! Raining buckets, high winds, flooding, if one has to be sick, this is the time to stay indoors. Sure hope you feel better soon!
 
My son has the stomach flu. He was suppose to go back to school today after spring break and he got sick on Friday. :(
 
Snow day! School is closed. Sheesh! We lost power for a couple hours but we were lucky enough to go next door where they have some emergency propane heaters. It's crazy white out conditions outside. >_<
 
Cherry flavored benadryl does not have the flavor of cherries. Trust me on this, do not put it on your ice cream.



or on your cheesecake.

I give it to him around bedtime to help him breathe and he is like a baby bird sucking on the syringe! :tongue: Personally, I am a Sudafed and Robitussin pusher! Not sure what gives here on the Island, but, folks are dropping like flies from colds, flu's, and, staph infections! :( Grandmom was kind enough to take Jeb over to her house so I can now go nap without him tearing up my bed pillow, the spunky little cuss!:wave:

Man is it windy out. My flag pole just bent from it....granted the pole is only an inch and a half wide. :tongue:
I was at the gym and they lost power. So my friend and I walked over to the mall and they only had half power.

Woman Blames Shoplifting On Irritable Bowel Syndrome

CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A woman arrested for shoplifting has blamed the crime on irritable bowel syndrome, authorities said.

Helen Gallo, 61, of Clearwater, was arrested Sunday after allegedly shoplifting from a Cape Coral grocery store, The Daily Breeze of Cape Coral reported. Gallo reportedly told authorities that she could not wait in line because she has irritable bowel syndrome, according to the newspaper.

Gallo was charged with petit larceny and released Sunday from the Lee County jail on $500 bond.

Gallo did not answer a telephone call placed to her home by The Associated Press. It was not known if she had an attorney.

Maybe someone should tell her that many grocieries deliver for older customers who dont have the means of getting to the store. That way, she can place her order and sit on the toilet until the food arrives!

Hey, Martin Luther (Protestant Reformer) had bowel problems, from drinking the heavy mead at the time, so he would sit on the toilet, write his sermons, drink the mead, go potty at the same time, then go deliver the sermons! Fact can be stranger than fiction! :rofl:
