I noticed the other day in one of her older posts that her avatar was gone - I think she left.

Does anyone know why? Anybody see anymore posts that might of upset her?
 
How sad....she was good at starting conversations and made me learn a lot too.:( Don't have any idea why she would have left....:(

This is now just really starting to hit me.....My Dad (alias Mr. Magoo) who turned 75 yesterday, hasn't been feeling well for the past several weeks. I took him to the hospital on Monday and I picked him up on Wednesday...he's still pretty weak and uncomfortable..... I guess the handwriting is on the wall.....I'm just not ready to go through this all over again....it's all the uncertainty and ups and downs that wear me out....

First off....so sorry to hear that, Preco. I couldn't even imagine what you are going through.
And secondly....Looks like I jumped the gun. Looks like tomorrow is the day I've been here for a year. :o I coulda swore I saw it say it was the 23rd...oh well. :o

My friend took me out to dinner tonight, and while waiting for a table another couple started talking to us.

Apparently when they were overseas in Belgium they didn't speak the language and they ran into an "English speaking American couple" who wouldn't help them.

"English speaking American" I know not everyone speaks English, isn't that a tiny bit redundant??:doh:
