how are points determind? how much for right answer? do different ?'s have different point value? Thanks if you take time to answer....

these are the same answers we submitted, same punctuation also, I believe. We have 110. Anybody get higher? perhaps these are the correct first round answers & 110 is the highest? have not seen anybody get higher so far. That would be awesome if they were all correct!!
 
I'm playing by myself and got 27 points?? Multiplied by 4 would be 108(close to top?) maybe there is a huge advantage playing as a team.

Nope, I am playing also by myself and I got 110 points. I would check back because points are changing for some. Good Luck !!
 
I dunno...Taz I just checked and we had 26 points now...maybe they are still working on it cause The other team I am keeping track of had almost the same exact answer and the same # of ppl contributing and the point value over there is over 100...

This is what I have, except I flipped the #3 responses, Combination #1: triple 17 and double20 Combination #2: triple19 and double17. 56 points! I don't get it.

Cowboy...you get the same # of points no matter how many is on the team....each question is a set value, so 1, 2, 3 or 4 members has no bearing on total points. We got 110 with only 2 on our team!

"...somebody said they called Marlboro and were told that there are tech issues potentially delaying completion of scoring by 24hrs, so none of us might yet have all the points we're going to get. However, I also looked at the Rules on the website. Rule 5, 2nd bullet point: "A correct answer to a clue can earn each Team Member 25, 50, or 75 Gear Points, depending on the clue's level of difficulty." Using "can" means they won't necessarily have a question of every point value each week, that it's entirely possible to have all four questions be of only one value (like all four in Week 1 could be 25s)"

I also saw that 2 people on the other board had got 160 points they had screen shots of this soooo110 is not the limit...
also looked like marlboro is sorta going in alphabetical order as far as doling out some of the points...so say a team that starts with (lets just say) "C" may have all their points while a team that starts with (hmmmm ) "T" may not yet...
 
We're an 'S' team so that might explain it. I'll check again later. 56 seems like we got jipped.

Looks like the answer should be C A D B

Does this look correct???
 
My team now has 106 points, earlier it was only 75 or something like that. So they are updating through out the day!

Marysville, California is part of the Greater Sacramento area.

If you look it up on Wikipedia, one paragraph states: "Marysville has only flooded 3 times since 1875, but the town is now known as "California's Oldest Little City."
