Marlboro Outwit The West

I have a problem with your answer for question 9 i found a picture of A and it was on the arkansas River

Yes i did I thought the question asked what year from oldest to youngestin the order of establishments (meaning to permantly setting up) Institutions (meaning structure or mechanism of social order) if thats the case then it would be the year like in maryvilles case about the levies which was not built til 1875 then the town was permantly established or am I just misreading the question all together?

Me, too, since C is the state flag of Alabama, and I found this:

"The North Alabama Bend, on the Missouri River near Vermillion South Dakota, was named after the well-known 269-ton sternwheeler that fouled and sunk on the bend 134 years ago on October 27, 1870."

You need to answer the questions as well. Then our captain will vote on what he/she thinks are the correct answers according to ours.

diner no caps
1. True
2. THE Continental CLUB
3. Triple 17 & Double 20
Triple 19 & Double 17
4. I think is California because Death Valley, Yosemite Falls, Route 66, is in Cali. . Grand Canyon is in Arizona but there is also one in California it is not as big. Overland Trail is also a dining car located in LA name Overland Trail that is why I am thinking California.
5. Council Bluffs and Omaha
6. 1937
7. DINER
8. Taos Hum
9. A=Missouri
B= Columbia
C= Arkansas
D= Colorada
10. CADB

I am not 100% sure about number 10, but I am like 97% sure. I was also wondering if anyone new if number 7 and 8 should be wrote any other way. Thanks for all your help.

Question on answers

Is there any way to remove an answer once it is submitted?

Well, my team only rec'd 40 pts from the first week's clues. Adios netbook. I know I didn't capitalize the word 'club' in question #2 even after highlighting it in my notes (duh!) And I did put the states after the town names in question #5, that's how my team voted.

??: Is there a way to know how many points each clue is worth? It may have been talked about but I can't remember...

ok, now our points jumped up to 120 in the last 10 minutes...strange!!:confused::confused:

Should the answer to 8 be

Taos Hum
The Taos Hum
the Taos Hum

What do you think??

I only have 56 points. My team is not really helping at all.

We received 110 points. Here's our answers
1. True
2. The Continental Club
3. triple19 and double17
triple 17 and double20
4. California
5. Omaha, Nebraska and Council Bluffs, Iowa

Are these the same as everyone elses? If so What was your score??

points???

Either I'm losing my mind, (which explains A LOT :wink: ), or, the Marlboro point thing is working out some quirks still. My point total just went down by 10 pts...I'm at 110.

I'm not gonna look at it again until tomorrow. Perhaps by then it'll be accurate...

Perhaps Marlboro is not sure of what the correct answers are :lol::teeth:
