Hotmail Users Now Get 2GB Storage!

They still can't match GMAIL- and the only reason they offer more space is because companies like GOOGLE are kicking their a$$. But if you're determined to make Billy G richer then by all means use hotsnail..
 
Thanks, it looks much cleaner than the old one. But it seems like they've already reserved spaces for more Ads.

I suggest you guys to turn off the reading panel (preview window), it loads the pictures from the external links so it will invite more spammers.

BTW, this is nothing comparing to gmail, if you want an account just ask.

2. Right-click this link and choose 'Copy Link Location' or 'Copy Shortcut'.
3. Go to IE where I am logged in to Hotmail and paste the URL I got from Step 2 then press the 'Enter' key on the keyboard.

It works!! Thanks.. The newer Hotmail looks cool. But I still prefer Yahoo.
 
Can you still use Outlook Express etc. to get your messages so you do not have to log on?
 
I still like the Yahoo Mail Beta better though.
 
Ok, I now think this sucks in FireFox. There are hardly any features implemented. Blah. I'm probably going to opt back into regular hotmail.

I opened IE, signed into Hotmail, copy pasted the Link, clicked "Join", and it took me back to my hotmail account, but it was still the crappy 25MB one..
 
Download the IE tabs plugin for firefox. It'll give you all the features while staying in firefox. You just click on the little firefox icon on the bottom of the screen to make it into a IE tab.

Thx anyhow, but I don't plan on using IE for anything. I'm not that fond of the features in IE anyhow. Back to regular hotmail for me.

Yeah, something tells me they are not working on those "bugs" too hard... they do not want their new service to work as well with Firefox, that way people will still use IE :thumbs_do

Then once you have signed in, copy the link and paste it into the address bar and you will be sent to the right location.

I did. and I clicked join.

but I was sent back to my regular 25MB hotmail...
 
I got it, but now cant get rid of it. It sucks for me, too mcuh security so now the links and pictures dont come through without "allowing" them.
