Free Goods from Walmart

Thanks for the Tide link Crystal! It looked pretty bad when I pulled up the page and all I got was the lone Huggies sample.....

I haven't been able to figure out why the offers are different for everyone either. A lot of the sample links from other places are from Start Sampling. I always thought maybe companies paid them to handle it for them. I don't know where I got that idea though, so it's probably not true.....:convinced:

Do you think it has to do with test markets? I know that my area is a hotbed for it. I guess if hoosiers will buy it, almost anybody will.

But how do they know you're in Indiana before you sign up for the offer? It's not like you're logged in to the web site or anything.

It looks to me like it's totally random. If you sit there and hit the refresh button enough, eventually the other offers show up.

When you click on the site, it's able to log your IP address and track that back to a point of origination. For examples, you can look at iGoogle as how they were determining local newspapers to display. But, yes, before you ever log in, they CAN and usually do determine where you are, where you have been and what lead you to them.

Scary thought, but there's a lot that can be tracked.
