I have the Release Candidate on my laptop. I'm suppose to be testing it, but I have had no problems at all.

You can download a copy of any operating system and install it. As long as you have a legit serial key for it & register it with microsoft after install there is no problem. You can actually buy a replacement DVD from microsoft if you can prove you have a valid key.
 
Finally got my email w/the tracking #. It's suppose to be here Thursday!

Where do you download them? (safely).... My kids both have laptops and no back up os disk. They both need formating. Both still have the product codes, just no os disk. One is xp pro, the other vista basic and my destops run xp and vist premium so I can't use those disk? I was wonering how to do this without actually having to purchase another disk.
 
Just got the tracking info on my Party Pack. Should arrive on Thursday. Whoo hoo!!!


Oooohhhhh.... they just updated my delivery date on UPS... It's now coming tomorrow!!!

Can I use this windows 7 disc and key on all of my home computers? it should be a shame to just install it on only one and have to buy two more discs with licenses just for the others.

The key that comes with the Party Pack is only good for one computer. You will need to purchase licenses for your other computers.


Just checked UPS and my Party Pack is "Out for Delivery" - Yippee!
 
I still don't have a tracking number :cry:, but I did receive a party preparation e-mail yesterday saying

got the same email.. still no tracking # yet! Can't wait to get my hands on it and try it out and have my party! Plenty of people from work coming to the house!
 
I havent gotten my tracking number as of yet. So when any of you get your packages could you list the reference number so that I may check on mines... THanks

I never did get my tracking # but my UPS driver just showed up about 1 hr ago! Had my Party Pack! WOWZER!!! VERY VERY NICE! And the totes? NICE SIZE AND REUSABLE!!! ;-)

We must be on a similar schedule. I just received my tracking number too. Only thing is mine just says Billing Information Received. :cry:
