i'm pretty sure they mistaken the "1" for a "4" when someone was hittin' the number key pad to the right because the number four key is sittin' right above the number one key but like the previous member (sunflower) said, print it out and show the ad to circuit city and pray that they accept that deal. :D
 
Honestly, unless you're bored/already going there I wouldn't worry about the price match. Brick and mortar stores will always refuse online prices, especially considering this says online only. Most likely the only way this would be possible to price-match, is to find someone like Amazon to match it but they require for the item to be in stock.

But, who knows, maybe someone will get lucky. Lemme know if anyone manages the price-match.
 
Amazon told me a few months ago they dont price match anymore????

i just got an email saying that i requested to cancel the SSB i ordered this morning, even though i didnt
i dont know what its all about but when i logon to walmart it says processing. did anyone else got a similar mail.
 
Did anyone get an email from Walmart saying they "received your request to cancel order." That is BS! I never requested such thing.
 
Price matching with images

So we all know bricks & mortar stores tend not to honor online prices for price matching, but I wonder how much less inclined they'd be to honor a graphic of an online price. The first thing I thought when I looked at the screenshot posted (which I know was legit, at least while it lasted, I'm not complaining) and got to thinking how easy it would be to make $19.82 drop down to sub-$10 if you wanted to. And thus, I can't imagine a store manager taking your price match that way.

Just got off the phone w/ Walmart and they said the distributors pulled all orders because of the price error and it will go on sale again tom. for pre orders at the correct price. And there was nothing else they are gonna do about our orders!
 
My order was canceled too. Guess it was too good to be true. Not much point to buy from walmart now though, rather get free shipping and no tax elsewhere.
 
My order was also "canceled". But, the manner they did the canceling made me raise an eyebrow. The email reads;
"We have received your request to cancel the item(s) listed below from your order #xxxxxxxxxx"

I did not request an order cancellation, like many of you. Now with my legal knowledge and the wording of the email, it appears that someone, or something at Walmart is impersonating customers and canceling orders under our name, which if ,I know federal and state law, is illegal. If Walmart simply stated it was a pricing error it wouldn't of been an issue and I wouldn't be upset, but they impersonated me and fellow spoofee.com-ers. Who ever did/approved of this may not only get Walmart into a class action lawsuit, but also got to prison, or at the least be convicted of a federal crime. Don't take this BS laying down!!!! If they did it right and not impersonate their customers, I wouldn't have an issue, but doing something illegal is just wrong.
 
I preordered SSBB and my order was cancelled. After 30-40 minutes on the phone and 2 managers later, I can place another order tomorrow and they'll credit me the $30ish difference. So call walmart ask for a manager, and explain that you placed an order and want the price honored.

Count me in as one who got the cancellation email. Pretty funny, considering that at Xmas time, they would not let me change the shipping address for something I preordered because they said it would be a cancellation, and they do not do cancellations of orders. Jerks.
