Heh, I wish I had been using a ripped off copy. I actually shelled out full price for XP Pro recently (used to have XP Home) after my computer took a nose dive. And the sad thing is I'll probably shell out more for the new OS, Vista. Curse you Microsuck.

Yeah, I don't know anyone that actually received one. I just got an email from them today saying it was "while supplies last". I guess if they never had any they didn't have to give any out. :thumbs_do
 
Boooo, I just got the email today too. They basically said, "Sorry, we're all out, but you can register your copy of XP online! YAY" Looks like they just wanted our email addies

This is soooo typical of Microshaft. about 5 years ago I was listening to a radio program sponsored by them and they had a quiz near the end. The first caller with the right answer would receive a brand new copy of their deluxe money program. I hapened to know the answer so I called and I won it but when it arrived I actually received a 2 yr old beta demo of the program!!! I called them and they said so sorry but they were out of the program so they sent me that instead. How could they be out of their newest program when it was in every store I walked into in the city?? What a bunch of liars they are.
