Yes, rebating was huge--you "had" boxes?? I STILL HAVE a closetfull of stuff (all neatly organized in Rubbermaid containers)! I know the minute I throw it all out, I'll need Colgate UPC's or something. Now, tho, they always want the CRT, so it's very difficult to put a rebate together without actually buying the stuff. But it was a good 15-20 years while it lasted.

I too used to rebate. I had boxes all over the place. I actually bought my first car with money I saved from rebates. It was a lot of work , but worth it. Now with postage as high as it is, a$1 rebate is not worth the effort.

The real problem is that the companies stopped offering rebates for the most part. It was too costly and there was a lot of fraud. I remember reading about one church group out in the mid-west who scammed P&G out of a half million. They actually bought cash registers and were generating receipts, etc. Some people just ruin it for everyone. I used to do tons and tons of rebates (I had a few "partners") and I made out very well. When I taught piano and went to various homes, I was always looking at everyone's trash! OMG! Your're throwing out that Nabisco box?? Can I have it???
 
I got another coupon today. Hubby brought in the mail and immediately called dibs on the candy coupon. lol
 
Did anyone else get an e-mail from them telling them that they would be getting a coupon? I found it strange that I got one today--still only two coupons here. Wonder if some weeks my orders actually went through.

Got the coupon after coming back from the store. oh, well. Won't be my last trip there.
 
Got my 3rd coupon (out of four) today--used the first two the other night at CVS along with the B1G1F mfg. I mentioned--got four free bars using only two of this coupon. I thought that was a pretty good deal.
 
I got two coupons in the mail & used the @ Rite Aid. They were having a BOGO sale on mars candy so I got FOUR FREE candy bars! Woo hoo!

went to rite aid with my mom and we each got 2 candy bars by using just 1 coupon each! i love this buy one get one free promo.
 
got in again!! I have so overdosed on chocolate what with this and the werther's HP!! What a way to go LOL!

ok just did it and went for four coupons. I hope it worked. I honestly think i have way to many emails lol! I have osme that i have forgot even. At least i have four people living in my house. Oh wait what about the dog and cat and all the fish i have???
