To every one Alex offered me two bits of advice on using the card...

1) Use it as a credit card not as a debit

2) Don't try to use to buy gas because prepay pumps will not accept them .

Thanks Racspur, I will keep hope alive,lol. As long as some folks in Texas are getting them, that means mine is on the way sometime soon. I was gonna use that card to pay for a PO box so i can cash in my $600 check from inbox dollars
 
Got mine in Ohio on Wednesday! Completely forgot about it and almost threw it away thinking it was just another credit card offer :unsure:

I'm in VA and haven't received mine yet but I was just wondering if the people that are getting them wrote to them about it taking so long? I completed the test drive thing and got the confirmation that I would get mine but I've just been waiting I didn't write to them about it or anything so will I still get one even though I didn't write to them about it? Just wondering if maybe I should write them an email or something about it.

I never called or emailed them and I got mine today here in Pa.
 
I used mine at Shop-Rite tonight. My order was around $8.50 and they gave me back the difference in cash. I've done this many times in the past. I just tell the front-end manager how much is on the card and they go and do some magic thing at their special stand. They come back and have me sign a slip of paper and enter it at the register. The difference is given to me. That way, I don't have to keep track of any balances, etc. I have another $25 to use (from the 8 o'clock coffee rewards program), and I'll use that one next time I go to that Shop-Rite. Don't know if this works everywhere, but I've been lucky with these cards.
 
Omg i'm soo angry right now. I wrote an email to them letting them know I still haven't received my card and many people I know have and I got this in response:

Based on recent audit of all redemption requests, we have determined
your redemption request did not meet the requirements set fourth for the
program. Therefore your redemption request will not be honored.

If you feel that you did meet all of the requirements of the program, it
is now necessary to provide the following information and resubmit for
your request to be considered again.

Mail in your validated certificate along with a business card from the
dealership in an envelope postmarked no later than 09/30/2009 to:

Please also include:

I wrote them back to let them know I did do the test drive but many other people didn't and I don't think it's fair that they want me to resubmit all the information again. Wow won't ever be buying or recommending one of their vehicles to anyone.
 
^^^Oh wow, I wonder if that is why I did not receive my giftcard as of yet. Either way I do not think that its fair for them to send out some to folks who did not do the test drive, but put those who did through hoops. They should have just honored the redemption and taken this as a lesson to verify that people are doing this.

Wowwwwwwww!! And you actually did the test drive? That's unfair. If I were you I would send them the requested documentation and seek justice. I do know of people that sent off multiple requests using the same addy but different names that haven't got theirs yet either. So it's safe to say they won't get it. Maybe they caught it and the good has to suffer for the bad.

I never heard of that before. Which Shop-Rite did you go to?

By the way, I got 2 of my 3 requsets so far (using 3 different address).
People who didn't receive the card should try to call Citi Prepaid Card customer service. Tell them your name and address. If it's a mis-mail they can reissue you a new card. I don't have the 1-800 number with me now. Anyone can post the number for those who needed it. Thanks.
 
I haven't recieved mine either, I called them and they also told me my request was also denied. I have to mail them all the information as well. Would they even keep a record of who test drove it, because they want the sales person? I'll give it another shot.

I think it's a bunch of bs. I don't see how they were able to keep track of everyone who participated in this offer. And how they distinguished the real test drives vs the fake ones.:rant:

My sister & I got ours and we never visited a Dodge lot, we got our codes from off this website.

Exactly, many people probably didnt do the test drive, but yet they got their giftcards no problem, but now Dodge wants to get all picky about who receives what? Thats BS, they just do not want to pay out the money and are looking for excuses to not hold their end of the deal. i dont like their crappy piece of junk cars anyway, hope they go bankrupt.

I think that they should just HONOR all requests now, and for future promotions look into the entries more carefully, instead of looking into them at the last minute and denying those who did things the right way, and rewarding those who did not.
