I got on yesterday right at 12, but missed it today. I never get the items anyway. We will see!
 
Le Couvent des Minimes is still being sold on eBay, and maybe at some other places. Sorry you never were able to get your prize. I used to get some of their items at Bath and Body Works, but they discontinued that line.

I loved their items! The lemon and the lavender sprays are wonderful!
Too bad BBW doesn't carry them anymore. Wonder if CO Bigelow or another store would carry their products...

:suspicious:I keep forgetting to add this to my lotus notes calendar so i can get a reminder and enter....but it is hard to get excited when you never win anything and they are still sending out prizes from the August giveaway. :mmph:

i totally agree, i get to excited to post up a thread for allure's giveaway but i forget to enter :cry::confused::nonod::ack: its the lack of energy i have when it comes to allure :argh: there's always next month :prey::wink:

Received the dr. brandt "Lines no More" today. No box, stamped "gratis" on the back, but it may be a full-size. Have to check their site. Finally, something from Allure. It's been so long.

Full size, .35 oz., $55 per their site. Hooray!

OK--hold onto your hats, everyone. I got an e-mail with the attached August winners' list today. Problem is that I can't get the file to open. My husband is out of town, so no help is imminent. I think it's the complete list like I got last year, but I won't know until I actually see it. I downloaded it, but can't open the file. Some box is popping up wanting to know where it came from or something like that...something I've never seen before. The e-mail does say that it is the August Free Stuff list, tho, so sounds like it's what we've been looking for. I wrote back to the Public Relations person again today, and five minutes later, I got the e-mail with the attachment.

I am really excited. This is great. I have been writing and calling and no one responds.
 
I am sure my name is on there for that empty box they sent me. I can't wait to see what they say about it now.
 
OK--sent an email to hubby last night and he e-mailed me back saying to open a pdf attached to his e-mail. Now the problem is that it is 1050 pages--it is the complete winners' list. BUT--the names are listed for the first 500+ pages, and then the prizes are listed on the second 500+ pages. These pages need to be lined up so that it can be viewed as a spreadsheet. I do see I should have gotten two prizes (and only got one) and that my friend should have gotten one--and she got nothing. Now the trick will be to figure out which prizes. I think it's as simple as page 1 of the names goes with page 526 of the document, etc. More later--want to do the Gillette.

Well, I couldn't get the Gillette to open correctly, and I tried AOL & IE. Not my day for the computer. Could be my modem acting up again or it's them.
