i have a whole box of free samples of shampoos, lotions, toothpaste...you name it! i dunno why, im obsessed with signing up for everything i see. the things i really need i keep in my purse which is perfect - but the rest go into the box.

I plan on donating them to a shelter - maybe a battered women's shelter. my mom gave me that idea which is think is really cool. just need to find one!

I set my cell phone alarm clock to go off at either 55 or 57 after (usually 57 after as i'm not stuck at the computer for too long, and it's just enough time for my laptop to wake back up & reconnect to the net.)

I only got in on 2 today -- the one at 12 (the skin lightener) and the 2pm masque (i think) one. I really wanted the 1pm one but forgot about it, and wasn't home for the 3, 4, & 5pm ones. :( *sigh*

I agree tho, there is less of an allure to these lately (no pun intended) with A) the stuff they've been offering and B) having to come every hour. (well, i guess not *having* to, but you understand).
 
Does anyone have a good clock to go by so I know if my time on my computer is right
 
I agree that the products aren't as exciting this year. I do want the Regenerist lip at 2p today though!

OP--could you put "2008" in the title, so we can keep these straight?

Kaija: Usually there are only four giveaways per month, except when they want to drive us stark-raving mad (like in August). These take place on the first four weekdays (except holidays) each month.

I didn't do anything. Got an email that they were sending a mascara for me to try. And poof, there it is. At the end of the month they will email and I'll have to fill out survey or write my opinion. so far that's it

has anyone gotten anything from june yet? the may stuff started coming the first week of july (haha) so i assumed june would come the first week of aug (hopeful). anyone? anyone?
 
anyone requested a winner's list aside from the famed August one of last year? I need to start doing that!!!!
 
There is no pattern as to when any of the Allure prizes go out. I haven't received any from June, but I never really even think about it unless someone else reports receiving something. Sometimes, they do arrive quickly, but sometimes it is months and months later. I'm sure someone will post if and when they get something.
 
you know what we all should do, we should find an Allures email addy and just bambard them with emails regarding all this years Allure winner's list i bet they'll act fast. but it will take an army to do this one or two people wont work, i've emailed ten times and heard nothing.
