I got this today Styli-Style Flat Eye Pencil in L.A. 8/18/2009

Also the same 2 extras JB mentioned. I had 2 emails out to Allure about the missing prizes. So far just those Color Mark item and a hair masque still missing.
 
Oh, wow--the Styli-Style is finally going out. Allure told me I was on the list to get it when it was sent out--hopefully mine is on the way. Thanks for the info. That's my final item from last AUGUST.

i emailed allure free stuff since i still haven't received either styli-style win.
took them over a week to respond but at least they answered. still missing:

I've heard from Allure too many times that these were going out that I don't believe them. I doubt that these will ever arrive.
 
omg...august is coming.. i wonder what they will have for us this year...hmm....

I think it's completely obnoxious that you say that. How is Allure failing? What other magazines let you try so many products for FREE? And it's not even their job to send it out, it's Styli-Style's. I think everyone needs to relax a little-- these people have jobs to do and I'm sure sending us free eyeliner isn't at the top of their to-do lists.

likely more stress and drama and lousy prize fulfillment.:rofl: hoping the fall make-up color palette has not so much purple this year. i am blonde with very pale skin and purple eye shadow makes me look like someone popped me in the eye. :eek:not a pretty look.:eek: last year everything was purple !!!
 
LOL Tutz! Purple is a good color for me, but after last August, I am set for life with that color. I'd like some variety this time around as well.

I gave up on emailing about the Colormark and hair masque I was missing. Too much bother and stress for a couple of missing items. I got a lot of prizes and am happy about those. But, I just don't understand why these companies don't follow through with their responsibilities. If it was any of us in our jobs we'd probably be fired for being such slackers. Sheesh!

i really wanted the colormark - didn't win it but really wanted it. now I'm glad i didn't win. i just googled them,since i wanted to see why i was so interested last August.

Well apparently you are new here so you dont know what every one of us have gone through with the freebies every year and as the years go by allure is driving us all crazier with failing to send out the products unless we contact them and even then they still FAIL to send them out so EXCUSE ME for saying they are FAILING AGAIN. Well its something they are suppose to do and if they promise to send out something we all expect to receive them after all some of us havent received some things after more than one year so of course we would all become aggravated not everyone can be like you for being so calm about this and the prizes arent just all eyeliners you know.
 
oh i know! what is up with the purpleness!!?!?! i remember they gave away this orange colored lip color (i didnt sign up for this) but i can just imagine what it would look like! i'm wondering if they are doing this on purpose or just wanted to get rid of a bunch of weird colors that no one wants.

last years big fashion statement color was purple .... watch this year we will see fuchsia or lime green.
