Did (2) two emails to [email protected] so far---early last week----about:

colormark, touchback by colormark, guerlain lipgloss, sally hansen seal & shine, and BBW Japanese Cherry Blossom Lotion, but so far only the colormark came.

Seems like they could put the touchback by colormark in the same padded envelope since it went to the same person, but no.

However, to other two members of the family, the Ricky Care flat boby pins were sent out . . . so they got them, not much of a prize, though. But nice to try anyway. We all thought they were real bobby pins in a box, but you get 6 flat red ones on a card.

i use Suave kids detangler spray its $2 and it works great better than those expensive stuff, i have long curly hair and it get tangled all the time so suave kids version really works and it smells yummy.

You know, I tried that one for my daughter's hair, and we ended up going back to the Johnson's. I love the way it smells, but her hair is so thin and long, it just didnt do a good enough job. If I ever get the VS detangler, I hope it isn't junk because we could actually use it.
 
Allure tried to keep me from entering today's free stuff giveaway by having Fedex bring me and my roommate each one of the Victoria's Secret detangling sprays about two minutes before time to submit. Luckily I rushed back and made it in just after 9am. :D Neither of us had gotten any email about winning this, and our names weren't on the August winners list for this particular prize.
 
Has someone already sent them an email telling them that they (or VS) boo-booed? Cause I think it's quite obvious by now.
 
Well, I only got one VS detangler--and I WAS on the August winners list for that. If they are also sending it to all the Sept. winners of the perfume (and I assume I am on the list for the perfume since I got that awhile ago)--then, I should get a SECOND detangler, right? Does my logic make any sense?

OK--today, I did receive from August: E.L.F. eyeshadow in Mysterious (from 8/26, 1 PM). This was USPS w/delivery confirmation from JA Cosmetics, Paterson, NJ. AND my KMS California hairplay Sea Salt Spray (from 8/11, 6 PM). This is the one which was returned to the shipper by UPS as damaged. I think they just sent me back the same damaged one--in fact, I know it. I weighed my husband's and it's 8.95 oz., but mine is 6.2 oz (and the contents alone are suposed to be 6.8 fl. oz). Mine is half gone--must've leaked out the first time. They must think I'm stupid. I'll be calling them.

I think they used to Sept perfume winners list to fulfill August Detangler prize. Since you are on September list once, I think that would mean one prize, not 2.

I won both months as well ... the tip off was my husband who didn't win in August, but was sent detangler. DH should never have received detangler.

yeah, its SO SEXY by fedex, but it doesn't come up for me. i'm email allure they told me its on its way but i'm always the last to get anything.
 
Well VS sent out confirm emails so just email that person back.

PS No tracking there for me.
 
Do any of you think that it's possible that VS intended to send all winners of the Sept '09 Giveaway (for the VS Velvet Amber Blackberry fragrance) a bottle of their So Sexy Instant Detangler as a bonus? This could be an explanation as to why VS's note says we won the Instant Detangler from Sept. Hopefully, this is the case.

What about the people who actually won the Instant Detangler from the Aug Giveaway - did the note/email from VS state that this prize was from the August Giveaway or the Sept Giveaway? If that note/email stated that the prize is from the August Giveaway, then maybe the above explanation makes sense.

I think it's strange, but possible, that either Allure or VS got the Sept & Aug winners lists mixed up. Would this then mean that VS would perhaps be sending out a total of 1,000 bottles of their Instant Detangler: 500 to the real winners from Aug plus an additional 500 bottles (by mistake) to the people who won the perfume in Sept? But I would think that VS would pick up on the fact that they mailed 1,000 bottles instead of the intended 500...unless nobody was keeping track of the quantity mailed. Looking at this another way, if the winners list for the Aug Giveaway by mistake listed the names of the winners of the Sept Giveaway, then that would mean that nobody who actually won the detangler in August will receive their prize.

So far this is a mystery.

Well, I won the detangler in August (but had never received it until Allure apparently told VS). The note which came with it said "September." I just figured VS was confused or Allure's correspondence referenced the wrong month. I also received the perfume about a month ago. I got one of each--what I was supposed to get--so I'm not concerned. I think what some people are wondering is why they got the detangler at all, since they were not on the August winners list for it. So, they're just getting an extra prize, right?

I got three of the detanglers this week...and I also got three of the perfumes. My notes all said "September giveaway." Don't ask me if there's a connection. :rofl: The stuff smells good though.
 
I never look by my front door for packages, because I have a note there that all packages should be delivered to the side door. However, I accidentally found a UPS envelope today with my missing prize from August 25, 1 PM--the Redken Color Extend Total Recharge Spray (first 50!). It was apparently sent on 4/6, so I guess it was there a few days. There's a "Cost Center: 068-02-205-0162-130407" which may be a reference. Now, I'm only missing the Styli-Style pencil, but my husband is still missing two. Almost done.

Got the same email today, but I sent a "wth" email earlier, too.

and I just checked FedEx and it is indeed on it's way.

OK--my theory may have been right, then? I got the same e-mail even though I already received the detangler that I actually won in August. They must be taking the Sept. winners list for the perfume and sending everyone on that list (which I am also on)--the detangler. So as I suspected, I would receive two detanglers. Too bad I have no tangles!

But--today UPS left a big box from KMS. I had called them about the hairplay spray being sent back to me exactly as UPS had returned it to them marked "damaged." They sent me another hairplay spray, a texture shampoo, a volume detangler (yikes!), and a bounce back spray of some kind. Along with that I got a handwritten note apologizing for the mix-up. Never had a clue they were going to do all that. Nice surprise. Now, where are those tangles I need.....?
