Discuss Past Months Allure Give-Aways Here

Three VS perfumes, two Aveeno kits, and a stiletto mascara in a pear tree....

why dont you send one of each to me

Yes, I got the Bodyograhy Mascara today also USPS. No return address--really strange. Mine had $.88 postage on it, but I think that's wrong and that's why some people got charged postage due. I don't have the postal chart up here, but I think it's considered a large envelope (due to the thickness) and the rates are higher than regular first class letter rate (allowed to 3 1/2 oz.). I didn't have postage due, but I'll check it later to see about it. Amazing that they don't take one to the post office to double check what the right amount is. I'd call them and clue them in 1-800-783-9969.

i got my mascara today, its considered a parcel and they asked for .41 when i had them redeliver the package, no biggy, i thought it was weird why the post office wanted .41 cents from me but not the sender but when i saw the package i realized there was no return label so the usps had to collect from somebody, so they assumed i ordered whatever is the package then i get to pay for it, hahaha. either way, i'm glad thats done and over with. i'm 3 to 4 for dec. same as july. i'm always the last one to get the prizes

has anyone tried the mascara yet?

I would love an Aveeno kit, if anyone got one and wants to trade let me know I have more stuff that isnt on my list yet!

i added the Dec. 3 Bodyography Waterproof Mineral Mascara in Stiletto $15 to my list for trade if anyone's interested

I got the Aveeno kit, I really wanted thatl

Good for you! I really wanted that also, but didn't have any luck in January. What do you mean by "Kit?" I thought it was just a bottle of Positively Ageless something or other. Nevermind--this is from the OP for January:

January 7: Aveeno Positively Ageless Complete Starter Regimen
This set has cleanser, eye cream, day cream, and night cream to fight wrinkles—and take the guesswork out of combining products.

I'd like to trade for this as well if anyone doesn't want it! Wonder if all the products are full-sized or specially-sized. Enjoy!

I have yet to win anything from them! I try every month each time and never win! Any suggestions from you fellow winners??

Received two of these today. I nearly shattered one of the pots of liner when taking the box out of the mailer because the end of the box was crushed open, the way it was crushed I am surprised the brush wasn't broken.

Surprised--I got this also today USPS.
JewB: There was only one pot in the box, right?

Yes, just one pot per box and mailer. One of the boxes was crushed and the glass pot is heavy so when I went to pull the box out of the mailer the pot flew right out and hit the ground.

Thanks--yeah, you're right. It is heavy--but free.....

I know why that happened to you, tho--because my boxtop wasn't closed right either. Stupid packaging--they should have put the heavy part on the bottom of the box.

i received 2 of these as well... the box isn't as much of a problem as how the box was packed. :ohwell:maybe i deal with the post office too much at work...there is no way this kind of bag will protect the contents as the package goes through postal equipment.:ohwell: The box was crushed because the packing wasn't substantial enough to protect the box.:ohwell:

 CANNOT believe that i actually won something IN February and that it has already delivered:eek: just assumed that i wasn't going to get ANYTHING until all of their stupid software upgrades were fixed.

thats funny my package was in excellent condition. i think the mail carriers you guys have place soccer with your packages

It was a flimsy mailer, but mine looks like it was hand-stamped--had regular postage stamps on it --$1.56 (ruined by big, black circular stamping). I'm with Tutz, though--surprised I managed a win in Feb. My notes said I did get the form, but had to go back and resubmit. Maybe that was one of the better times--after that, it seemed to go really downhill.

I agree pat, i posted on the thread at the time that i got in at 12:00:20 after i retyped the security code and that the entry for my husband was hung up in cyberspace. guess we were all struggling.
