DH and I got these today. first time in all of the years i have been doing this that I "won"
something from each giveaway in the month. :teeth:

I also have won all the prizes one month--and it only happened once (October) here also! Today, I received the Victoria's Secret perfume (Sept. 4th). I lied--I did get all five for November as well, but I personally didn't get the Lip Smacker--my husband did. My entry must have been too early. So, actually, I guess I did it twice!

got the 2 bottles and love them and scent HOWEVER... since i was in the cosmetic biz am wondering if they are previously used samples from Victoria's Secret stores. they look DIRTY... although it could be the way they shipped them. the bottles have no security health dept seal and look abused, like they are testers but not marked as testers. ANY ONE ELSE SEEING THIS? BEAUTIFUL PACKAGING I AM JUST SUSPICIOUS

I think it's doubtful since they sent out 500 of them and they do have the price tag already affixed ($45). Anything is possible, but mine looks OK. Only thing I noticed was that the bottle was in the container sideways when I got it...probably fell over during shipping.

I finally got the Yves Rocher Scrub yesterday. I'm apprehensive about trying considering everything I've used with argan oil in it has broken my skin out.

...but it's so pretty....:ohwell:

I ended up getting two things of the Pureology supersmooth serum from UPS today (one for me, one for my roommate). :D So I ended up winning all the September giveaways. I wish that would happen every month.

btw, did anyone receive a USPS parcel in the last week that they had to pay .41 cents for postage?? i got an pink card in the mail today, i had to either go pick it up or have it redelivered and have to pay .41 cents. its weird but i'm guessing its from a dec 2009 allure giveaway. anyone have this problem?

I did...in my case it was the Bodyography Stiletto mascara from Dec. 3rd--so I guess it was worth the 41 cents :) HTH

thanks for letting me know, i figured it was from dec. but why would they charge us 41 cents, it makes no sense :thinking: i dont mind it at all but just weird to me, i guess there is a first time for everything :suspicious:

My VS perfume arrived, the box was wrapped in pretty fuchsia VS tissue paper and was in perfect condition other than some black velvet lint/fuzz on the inner pink part of the box where the bottle sits. I also received the Bodyography Waterproof Mineral Mascara, it arrived in a square mailer with no return address.

Yes, I got the Bodyograhy Mascara today also USPS. No return address--really strange. Mine had $.88 postage on it, but I think that's wrong and that's why some people got charged postage due. I don't have the postal chart up here, but I think it's considered a large envelope (due to the thickness) and the rates are higher than regular first class letter rate (allowed to 3 1/2 oz.). I didn't have postage due, but I'll check it later to see about it. Amazing that they don't take one to the post office to double check what the right amount is. I'd call them and clue them in 1-800-783-9969.

You are correct, I only know this for sure because I recently emailed USPS about price confusion when applying my own postage to a bubble mailer (I got sick of waiting in line for 25 minutes to have things metered).

From their email response:
"I understand that you are trying to obtain the price to send a 3 ounce First Class Mail bubble envelope.
xxxxxx, I am sorry for the frustrations that this has caused you in attempting to gather the price information. Your bubble envelope falls into the letter size category. However, the price is going to depend on the thickness of the envelope. If the thickness of the envelope is between .007" and 1/4", then the item will fall in the letter size category and the price will be $0.78. If the thickness of the envelope is between 1/4" and 3/4", then the item will fall in the large envelope category and the price will be $1.22. If the item is thicker than the 3/4", then it would fall in the parcel category and the price will be $1.56."

Three VS perfumes, two Aveeno kits, and a stiletto mascara in a pear tree....

Won the Victoria's Secret Velvet Amber Blackberry Fragrance. Very nice. I didn't enter any contests for Oct.,Nov.,Dec., Jan. or Feb. I have won so much in the past that I can't use it all. May start trying again in a couple of months. Good luck all! ♥
