:amen: my brother from another mother! (better start getting used to the "lingo")

Is it time for someone to suggest that we need an Obama Thread?

Jimmy!, Jimmy!, Jimmy! (Springer would be jealous)

Let's not disturb the dead.......................

Someone removed my political cartoon from my post above.
Not that anyone cares, but that ticks me off!
I was not derogatory toward anyone, it was simply a graphic representation of what happens to every president, the shifting of blame from is predecessor to himself.
There's some D**N thin political skin around here!

Unless it was taken down and just put back....it's still there.....:noidea:

What showed/shows up for me is a red "x"....if I click on properties, copy the address into a new window....I see the pic. Not offensive by any means....

Dan....I care BTW....

Very curious. I can't see it. No red X, no nothing.
If I use Internet Explorer, I see the red X, but not with Firefox.

It's a conspiracy, I tell ya!

I'm not blaming anyone, and I take back the vitriol of my previous post, but not the words.
I sorely miss the day when someone could post a 'hot' topic, get a good exchange going, and a few folks would get upset. But over the course of a couple of days it would settle down and everyone would be speaking to everyone else again.

Oh now now now children...we are all suppose to feel the LOVE!! Didn't any of you all listen to the Inaugural speech and feel the LOVE?!?! Sham on every last one of you for complaining about something as simple as fairness. Feel the LOVE, LOVE I tell you!!! By the way, I would have gone to the Inauguration, but, my sheets were still in the dryer so I stayed on home. I hate "wrinkled sheets" they are so very uncomfortable.

Maybe I'm in a bad mood. But...who cares if Hilary is insulted. At least she got some kind of job....she outa be used to coming in second....I mean she wasn't always Bill's first choice either, right?

FEEL THE LOVE I tell you!! FEEL THE LOVE SISTER!! FEEL THE FREEDOM!!! Love Love I tell you!!

My son (7 year old) is writing a letter to Obama:

"Dear President Barrack Obama,

Congratulations on being this years president. I hope you have fun."

I can hardly keep a straight face while I'm helping him. He still had more room to fill. I asked him what he wants Obama to do as President. He said "Nothing"...again...choking it back. Then I said, "Well what do you think we need in America?"

"More Carnivals"

sorry son, it's four more years until the next election

How come all the cynicism? We now have what was elected and it's a hell of a lot better than what we had before. It's pointless to speculate on "what might have been" because it's simply not. Time will tell if the guy is up to the task or not and so far what's to object to his trying to cap his staff incomes' and providing more freedom of information.

Now Jerry, have you been at the Koolaid stand and calling the kettle black?

He's been 'in office' for less than 48 hours and for 12 of them he's been partying......please tell me what he's accomplished so far for you to say "he's a lot better than what we had before"......:noidea:

So is it 'pointless' at this far to defend and praise him?

I agree....only time will tell.....:yesnod:...however, he is getting no more scrutiny than any other president that has taken office...in fact, he's gotten less ..:lost:...... This country is in dire straights, of course we're all interested and will give our opinion as to what actions he takes as he goes along. And FTR....freezing salaries is a good thing......as far as his appointments...well, some seem to have a conflicts of interests....but that does not seem to matter or be 'noticed'.......
