Allure May 2011 Giveaways

Thanks for the ref # Pat. I just checked and apparently mine was delivered last friday. Left at front door. Never got it, one of my neighbors stole it :mad:

Hi Mina, are you sure the package was yours?
I tracked using AREA since the 2nd code doesn't work. Tracking showed 7 packages to my zip with 2 delivering yesterday,1 on the 24th and one on the 27th, all left on the porch. :thinking: nothing to me.:suspicious:
we are friendly with our UPS driver and my husband was home all 3 days.
Some of those packages weighed over 3 lbs.. Thats awful heavy for 1 bottle of tanning stuff.
:thinking: i checked their web site in California. i am wondering if the freebies were fulfilled with their regular orders since there are so many packages to 1 zip.
 
Re the St. Tropez: The second ref. was, in fact, my order number--so probably just for my shipment. If you didn't get the e-mail, it's possible you didn't win the item. We'll only know for sure once we see the winners' list. And I believe the weight was 1 lb. per the UPS envelope (so it could have even been less than the 1 lb. minimum). The ref. "Area" is probably too generic to mean anything. HTH.
 
When I see that there is a prize coming to my zipcode that I signed up for, I call UPS to see if it is coming to me. I only do this when there are multiple prizes coming because I want to see if I am getting one too.
 
Strangely enough, I received an e-mail today from some PR firm saying that I won the St. Tropez and that it would be shipped soon. Yeah--I get it--actually, I GOT it last week. So now maybe some of the confusion will be cleared up for those who were trying to use the references. Look for an e-mail from [email protected].
 
I got the same email today, Pat. It said the product would arrive in 2 weeks. Time flies because I got the self tanner by UPS a few minutes ago. lol
 
Just got the email for shipping for the Kate Summerville!!
 
I just got the email saying congrats for winning (and that it's on it's way) for the Kate Summerville also!! Do you know that product has a retail value of $80.00?!

posted same entry time as you that day, and no emails here. I have had no luck lately. :cry:
 
:mmph: I can't believe this. Just checked my time clock against the official goverment clock - GUESS WHAT!!!???!!! iT WAS 1 1/2 MINUTES OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so.....no wonder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guess I've been wasting my time. I can't tell you the last time I adjusted the clock! I am soooooo bummed. :cry:
 
I think my email came hours after another poster so maybe your email will be coming soon. I actually got an email saying my "shipment" was on its way very early this morning. I had no idea what it was in reference to since I had not ordered anything from them. I got the "congrats" email about seven hours later saying I won the product.

Well, at least you corrected it before the August blowout. I didn't get an e-mail for the Kate Somerville from May 2nd, and although I don't know my exact time, I did mark "good" for this one. Good luck in August.

Nope--nor did I get the Mary Kay mascara (May 4th). So, I supposedly won all three, but nothing has arrived yet.

I am waiting for a win from awhile ago.I don't remember the month,but i still haven't received the prize from be bronze.I notified the compnay and Allure a few times and still nothing.I think it was before March.Anyone get this or are still missing this giveaway?Thanks

That was from January, and I'm still waiting for it too. I emailed a couple of times to both places as well and still no prize. B Bronze told me they mailed them out in April, then said they were still mailing prizes out. Allure said notify them if I didn't get it by end of June. When I emailed allure at that time, they just sent me a generic, We're sorry you didn't get your prize, blah blah.
