Thank you Joyce will do! Little happier with my son he is at least going over to stay with a friend who has a 2nd story although he says they aren't really predicting any real flooding with this.. moving to fast or something but after my husband spend over 12 hours in 6 feet of water with the only option being the crawl space in the attic which he wouldn't get in, guess I'm just paranoid about water. Least now he'll have the option of another floor. His friend has a pool table and generator and as this is his friends first hurricane he welcomed the company. They will probably have a blast. This is just bringing up some really rotten memories for both of us but I have to calm down wouldn't help to start freaking out now. I feel like they will be ok..so how silly is that. I'm fine son's call helped.

Hi Joyce, I've been on some mostly just trying to keep up with points and prizes for now. Am a lot better just is lingering with some tummy upset! Kids are in Houston and not leaving so am nagging at them today like that helps. Daughter called a bit ago said people are already fighting at the gas pumps. We evac'd Houston for Rita and it was a nitemare, 13 hours to go what would of normally taken us less then 2 hours. Glad to be away from there now just wish the kids would move farther inland too. We're still not far enough that we aren't getting constant severe weather alerts but it'll be mostly like Gustav just lots of rain, wind and some tornado warnings possibly.

I say the best teacher for kids is by setting an example. We realize that the boys will look to hubby on how to be a man and how to treat women and I know that for the most part I am the model of what type of woman they may want to marry. We watch what we say in front of them and I am not talking about curse words either. They take in everything - language, actions, attitude, etc....

Girl, I can still rock the kitchen ok? lol On the occasions that I like to cook, I love to experiment with marinades and spices so it is all good! I think I took a Super Wife/Mama pill yesterday because I cleaned the kitchen while I was cooking - I even mopped when I was done! Wow, I MUST be ill!
Let's take it one child in school at a time ok? Lord woman what are you trying to do to me? Yeah, I know it will be here before I know it. And then there will be girls! :faint: Kadin already has "girl - friends" at school.
Let me brag about my baby Kadin and how sweet he is. Long story short I have a super duper complex about fingers in doors and such from 2 very bad experiences. We have starting using the diaper genie for Kesler's "presents" and I put one in there the other day and just as I slammed the top down - Kadin put his finger in there! The thing was completely shut! He had this look on his face like "Oh my God my finger is stuck!" So I yelled "Kadin!" and pryed open the lid which was so tight. He wasnt crying or bleeding or anything (hubby said it couldnt have really hurt bc it is plastic). So I ask him if he is ok and looking at his hand and I start crying - no sobbing - and shaking. Kadin starts comforting me! "Mama are you ok? Mama stop crying. It's ok Mama..." I told him just to let me hold him and he said, "I want to hold you Mama" I am tearing up just typing this!

He does a pretty good job. LOL I tell ya he has really softened up here lately. He often thanks me for the boys. He did again last night, it melts my heart. He is so in love with his boys.
I TOTALLY fixed dinner last night! Dont know if you knew or not - but hubby is the cook around here. I can cook, I just dont like too so that was the deal when we got married. But I felt all "Wifey" last night. I might do again tonight. Keeps him guessing....keeps the marriage fresh....lol
Kesler wants you to come over so he can drool on you. lol Did I tell you he has two teeth already! He wants just 6 months yesterday! And he is sooooo close to crawling! He gets around by scooting forwards or backwards - whichever is quicker! lol

It was the most beautiful cup ever! :verysad: My husband is so great. At first he was like "you spent $$$ and didnt get the insurance :doh: and it's broken" then he went and got the super glue and started gluing it together and cracking very funny jokes. It was like putting a jigsaw together but it was funny. Then you know what I caught him doing? Searching for another mug just like it. :like:
Kadin had a good day at school, but I kept him home today. He has had a cough for a couple of days and today it is really "thick." So I am giving him medicine every four hours to knock it out. When I talked to the admin at the school she said it might be cancelled tomorrow because of coastal flooding. So I might have my baby with me for two days! :marshmallow:
