Zippo Lighter from Marlboro *YMMV

I did not get anything in the mail. So I went and signed up closed out and went back in and put promo code MAR9680 and it let me choose a lighter or free pack. Said I was on their mailing list so had no trouble signing up. My mom got something in the mail for a free bottle opener and the promo code MAR9680 did not work for her. Maybe it is just for the people who did not receive anything in the mail
 
okay what I was trying to say last night without having to come right out and say it was....I have been married twice...both times I have changed my name to my husbands name legally(ss office and dmv)...both divorces I went back to my maiden name....everytime I have ever moved I got my address changed on my drivers licence...

the cigg ppl are doing a search on your drivers license... I have to be a nightmare for anyone trying to verify anything on me through the dmv...

we have 4 year licenses here...I have been divorced 2....my ex got a DL shortly before we split up...he has never changed his name being a guy...AND BEING a guy I figured he never went and changed his addy after we broke up...hes gonna wait til heneeds a new license...and I must have been right cause I flew through on getting him in after trying for me for 15 minutes....

moral of the story? find a guy that doesnt move around alot and ask for his birth date....whew:ohwell:
 
I received the book from Marlboro in the mail with the promotional code and customer number and signed up with no problem. I think you have to have a current customer number. My husband also signed up with no problem.
 
Sorry I missed out on this one :verysad: -- but hey, did anyone else win the racing experience from Marlboro?? I'm kinda excited about it - I get to bring a guest to the Louden, NH racetrack (they have a Nascar race here every year) and get suited up and ride shotgun with a pro driver for 10 laps - and - AFTER that, - they feed ya, although I'll probably be too quasey (spelling) to eat! :throwup: You know the ironic thing - I don't even smoke!!!!!!!!! I registered at smoker signup to get hubby a freebie and I won, but HE, the smoker! - didn't :rofl: and he can't take the time off of work to go, so I'm bringing a friend. And since they'll be expecting me to smoke Marlboros, I'll tell them I recently quit ;) Can't fault me for that, right? Oh, BTW, my friend will be smoking WINSTON, seriously! LOL

This is valid. I received a flyer in the mail today with the same promo code. Logged back in today "to vote" and entered the promo code at the login screen with my username and password and was presented with the "free lighter or coupon" offer. I have been signed up before with offers from Malboro so maybe that matters. So far I have received every gift that has been offered since the last free zippo deal. If you can't get it to work, then I'm not sure what is wrong. I'm just saying it does work and that marking it "invalid" is incorrect.

I tried a promo code that my mom got. It worked for her but said that the promo code did not match my customer ID. So like someone else said, I think it is for a select group. Her promo code did not match the one listed in this thread either. However she did not get the zippo lighter before, and I have received one from them in the past, so maybe that made the difference?
 
Well after several years of periodically being frustrated that I couldn't prove my age - I called the number on the above link when trying to register, the gal was very helpful and within 10 minutes I was found and verified over the phone. She told me to wait 24 hours before trying to log into the Copperlabel site to register as a new user to get the lighter, but as I am an impatient sort, I clicked as she was telling me that, and lo and behold, I was now of age and listed. I clicked on through for the zippo and got confirmation I would receive within 4-6 weeks, WOOT !!

So it is active and working, just need to go in under new user and input info, I didnt need a code --if that fails, call them and have them verify you = )
 
I didnt need a promo code...*sigh* I give up...(lookin for my free nicorette gum before the lighter gets here!!)

I'm still a bit confused about why I cannot get this lighter. I was told the promo code wasn't valid (I guess for my account). So, I never saw any page to order a lighter. Am I done with this, or is there some way to log on and get it that I don't understand? I have a customer number. Any clarification would be appreciated. Thanks.

Wish I could tell you. I tried with both mine and my husbands. My Mom got a different promo code and it worked for her but her code or the one listed here wouldn't work for me. It seems to be random people.

I didnt have a code...just try without the code to sign you or your hubby in:)

after trying the gum on several diff occasions and getting the same result of it burning the hell out of my throat I decided they are going on ebay and I will keep smoking lol well at least til I can buy the patches! :verysad:

Well the only reason that I can think of is....psychobutterfly has the company so darn confused that they do not have the manpower to carry on! LOL

This is how I did this...

Register WITHOUT a promotional code
enter name & address & DOB
they verify your info -takes a few seconds
answer a few preferences
and a choice was given - BOGO coupon or free lighter


When I went back to get the step-by-step directions to post, I used my hubbys info.
Nothing came up regarding the BOGO or lighter. hmm
