Who are all these people?

From personal experience, I spent several months "lurking" around this site to get a feel for it before deciding to join. Everyone here appears to be friendly and helpful thus leading me to join as a member.

Yup, I kinda lurked for a while too before posting. I think I felt funny not thanking people that were doing all this hard work finding deals that I was signing up for, and so I became a member. BTW, welcome to Spoofee! :wave:
 
I didn't do too much "lurking". I just saw something that somebody said, it interested me and I wanted to add my two cents. So far I'm out about $2.12 but I'm a big spender so it's OK.

the reasons that I don't post is... cause I don't log in all the time, and the answer or comment that I would have posted is already there...or I really don't like feeling stupid in front of everyone...or I don't know where or how to really 'navigate' the site (the internet and I have personality issues)...or (personally) it's hard to post and get a conversation going with people I don't know... and finally, I don't have any good deals or freebies to add to the lists
that's a few of my reasons anyway.

I can understand all those reasons and they make sense. and thanks for sharing this. Keep in mind that what you say might be of interest or help to somebody. Additionally it's all anonymous and most of the things people say here are friendly or funny banter. When that is lost sight of, people take offense, feelings get hurt, people disappear for periods until they lighten up, etc. It's fun to banter and fun to get deals and just entertaining so just don't get serious.

And don't ask what makes me think i'm such a Spoofee authority :tongue:

I would like to add that we are only strangers now....get to posting and that will fade fast. :hug:
 
Hi to all of you spofee's I have been lurking around for a few weeks watching and reading and I joined cause you all look so friendly and are such a happy bunch. Um I haven't posted anything yet cause I haven't found anything , but I will one day find something and post it here, Just have to wait till then otherwise I like just lurking around in these waters...

I remember when I first joined spoofee :) I lurked around and asked a few questions here and there. I even sent private messages to a few members who I saw were/still are quite active here (THANKS JOYCE FOR ALL YOUR HELP WHEN I WAS A NEWBIE), because I just wanted to know how things worked here. I was a little shy at first, but now if I see something that catches my interest I will speak up. I haven't been here much (and haven't said a whole lot either) in the last few months simply because I am a full time student (and single parent) carrying 17 credit hours, therefore I don't have a lot of free time, but I do try to make an appearance every week, if only to post my free coke codes off of my coke caps for the lucky individual who can get them quickly to redeem them LOL. My final exams are next week and then I will be done for the semester. I will have about a month off so I will be here several times a day and probably be posting more LOL but the downside to that is I won't have any free coke codes for you guys. Oh well, guess we can't have everything.

Thanks I think I am going to need all the luck I can get on a couple of them LOL I should have been studying the last couple of days but have done everything but.
