or a simple a-line skirt with cardigan

I wish I could wear the swan dress, but no one around me carries it. Besides isn't it a fashion faux paus to wear white after Labor Day? :doh:

I wore a simple dress and heels to my reunion with some understated jewelry. Half of the kids wore jeans and the others were in formals. I was glad I dressed the way I did. Plus, it was great for dancing in, since we left the shindig early ;)
 
I would wear a simple black cocktail dress, that is the most common atire that they do wear. Good luck.
