Watcha Reading?

The last thing I read was The Shack a couple of months ago...Someone told me it was an awesome book and I found it for a dollar on ebay...absolutely loved it...read it in 2 days...short book... and I couldn't put it down...wish they would make a movie about it....I truely enjoyed it...maybe not for everyone if your ideas about religion are cut and dried, it has a very unique perspective...

I've definitely heard mixed things about that book. I may read it someday just to see what the hype was about.

I heard there was alot of hype about it too and I honestly don't see why...the first couple of chapters are sad but the rest of it is very fun and totally thought provoking, let me know if you read it....I would love to hear your opinion of it...it actually made me feel better about all religions rather than not that impressed with one religion...if that makes sense...

I'll try to tackle it here shortly. Kind of frustrating that the Kindle addition is $2 more than the paperback on Amazon. Like, non-printed wireless delivery costs more than actually printing it? I anticipate my views on the book will be different than yours since I'm dedicated to a Biblical worldview. But that's what opinions are for, right?

Thats why I said I was curious as to what your opinion would be...no worries...I believe everyone has a right to an opinion and unlike alot of people I like hearing others thoughts on contraversial issues as long as it's a good conversation and not an arguement :)

That's my attitude too!

I like reading Jodi Picoult books.

I started with "My Sister's Keeper" of course, and kept going from there!

Would anyone be surprised to hear I'm reading the Mickey Mantle book "The last Boy"? That and How to Play and Win at Craps as Told By a Dealer (I'm going to Las Vegas next week for a week to visit my sister).

The last book I read was Getting to Happy by Terry McMillian. I really want to get into Matched. I heard it was really good.
