Subway/ Vespa Get Smart Eat Fresh Instant Win Game 8/10/08

Actually, these chips are really good! I won a ticket and a gift card, but I'm wondering when/if they will actually get mailed (while the movie is still showing???)....

I could never get into the site, but my husband helped me today (different browser), and we both registered. He won three bags of chips and I won two bags of chips and a movie ticket (asked for address, so I guess it's not coming via e-mail). But deal06seeker is right on. The one time I went to Subway with a coupon, the guy there was EXTREMELY rude to me. Said he didn't know anything about the coupon, called someone else, and then basically said "OK take them and get out." I was so insulted. I should have complained to corporate, but I did not. If that happens again with these coupons, I will be calling them.
 
Pat, the movie ticket does come via email, so make sure you keep an eye out.
 
I just can't seem to sign up for this I tried 5xs and it keeps saying I'm not old enough. I put 1967 in as my birth year. I give up

Thanks, but I did notice that I got an e-mail about the ticket AFTER I posted. I also printed out my two chips winning notices and went to Subway last night. The same person was there as last time, and he wouldn't honor it at all. Just kept telling me that he didn't know anything about it and I should call up the people who sent me the e-mail. Personally, I don't think he knows how to read, and I was furious. I told him I was glad he gave me a hard time because I didn't call corporate on him the last time, but I sure as hell was calling on Monday. He wouldn't give me the number, but I copied the store number and the owner's name from a plaque on the wall. It's now on tomorrow's list. Anyone else have this nonsense go on?
 
Today I won two more bags of chips (which the store won't give me) and my husband won another bag of chips. And in case no one noticed, the e-mails say you can only redeem one a day and they expire 7/31. How I'm going to redeem them I have no idea.

Update: the e-mail I got today says I have until Aug. 1 to redeem, so it re-sets every day.

won 2 movie tickets, and 15 bags of chips...neighbor kids love me...lol
 
We were lucky, and went to a Subway inside a gas station (open 24 hours) and they took all the e-mails I had at the time (seven). Then I went home and won three more. I did call Subway and they're supposed to tell the "bad" store that they are to take the e-mails. I really don't want to use them there now, tho--because they have my name and e-mail address on them. Not sure if that can be "blacked out." Personally, I think this is a terrible promo. You can win three a day, but can only redeem one a day--and you get five days to do it. So if you win every day, you'd have to be going to different Subways every day to cash them all in. Ridiculous.

:) I got 2 free bags of chips. Hopefully hubby can use them w/o any issues.
 
I called Subway corporate on having a hard time redeeming chips.
The girl on the phone said they weren't honoring the chips because of
fraud. I asked her if she had seen her website rules where it says
50,000 bags will be awarded each week! She took all my info-
was typing it in a computer as we spoke. I couldn't believe they didn't
know about there own promotion. A few weeks later I received a
letter with a $5.00 gift card-said they would tell all stores to accept
coupon-but obviously the word hasn't trickled down to the employees-still
have a hard time redeeming-just gave up playing the game-silly promotion.
Also, the movie ticket that you print out says you can see any movie-
not just Get Smart.
 
I called last week and they said a regional manager would call me back. No one ever called back, and I haven't gotten anything in the mail. I've had better luck with the Subways inside the Valero gas stations--redeemed 11 on Sat and 10 more tonight. Just won three more and will do it again after midnight. Since they seem to take them there with no problems, I'll just keep winning and redeeming. Think it ends on the 10th anyway.

Good info about the movie tickets--I have two e-mails here for those (one on my account and one on husband's) to redeem. I figured they'd be good for any movie, as I don't even think "Get Smart" is still in theaters.
 
Won nine more tonight--three on my account before midnight, three after midnight--and three on husband's after midnight. Funny, he was just saying last week that he wished we had some chips in the house. Be careful what you wish for....

Thanks for your research! We'll see if it's an issue here in the next day or so. :)

I've only won chips so far (just started the game) but I hope I get some movie tix & that there's no problem redeeming them. We NEVER go to the movies b/c it's just too expensive.
