Claim: Starbucks issued coupons via e-mail good for free iced grande beverages.

Status: Was true, but the company has since changed its mind.

Wrong! In a time of need (the Towers Falling and injured people) they made Paramedics pay for water to help the injured! Capitalism at it's worst! Shame on Starbucks! I personally have had further dealings with them and their attitude stinks! They don't even know (or care) how deplorable they are.

IF you ever need assistance and you are in front of a Starbucks, pray you have enough cash on you or you are out of luck!

Those of you who got it to go through were lucky. DH works for SB and they've been told not to accept them.
 
I used it in Chicago yesterday and the guy was like huh did you fill out a survey? I'm like uh sure LOL. He took it and punched in the code and it worked, then he was all happy
 
it worked yesterday i gave the barista the coupon and he gave me a free iced coffee no questions asked
 
news report

There was a news report on this on one of the evening Chicago news stations. As previously mentioned it was supposed to be in a limited area and to employees but has been spread along the internet (Hello Spoofee members!) So as mentioned Starbucks is longer accepting these coupons.

I missed the deal too :(

Caribou said Friday that it would give free medium Cold Press iced coffee, iced Americano or iced tea to On Sept. 8 to anyone presenting one of the Starbucks iced coffee coupon that has been widely circulated on the Internet. :D

Wish I would have seen this before Caribou is good and there are a lot near me.

-Friends don't let friends drink Starbucks.
